Hey now, through 12 Calder cup playoff games Subbs has an even +/- while highly touted Sandin is - 2 and Liljegren is -1. That has to count for something.

Is Subban even playing?
I don't follow Toronto's organization.

Bennett would get you 15 goals per season pretty consistently it looks like. I actually think his grit would fit in nicely here and would mesh well with our kids right now, but expectations around here is that our bottom 6 guys need to be all paid a max of 1.2 mil and get close to 20 goals each so Bennett wouldn't fit here lol

Ya all signs point that Bennett would be more consistent than Jake. Virtanen's #'s are trending up but still...

He might be the 3rd wheel, for for Elias and Brock.
Time for this team to start getting some players with fiestyness and stop the trend of the supersoft.

A Sam Bennet would actually be very good for the Canucks even if it was 4.2 mil.

It lets you trade off Sutter. It also allows you to move Gaudette to wing . It could also free up Jake.

I hope you took a triple shot of Jaegermeister with an orange juice chaser while posting that here. I don't care if you are a Flames fan, the rules of this forum are written in stone.

Yeah to convince Bennett to leave cgy and sign in van you would probably have to overpay quite a bit too

I am trying to decide if I am okay with this for two years

Hughes Tanev (one year) / Schenn
Sautner Miller
Benn Stecher

Briesbois OJ Rafertty

Draft Broberg

I think I prefer this than signing long term free agent.

Who would have thought when 18 year old same Bennett couldn’t do one pull up that he would turnout to be the type of player you want in the playoffs and hit guys and stick up for teammates...

Can't argue with this. That is why when I see people calling 17 year old Broberg a bad choice I think

None of us know.

I think the flames are in a tougher spot with him than people realize ...tre will probably not give him much of a raise so if he wants more money an offer sheet might be a possibility
