Same guy said that they are down on Patrick. Sounds like it anyway.
I’m not sure you could do better then a 2nd for Vesey. Highly doubt they’d get a first for him, but he could included with something in a bigger deal. It’s very hard to see Vesey have a spot in the top 9, if we’re keeping Kreider, signing Panarin and drafting Kakko. He’s probably gonna go in a trade imo - Slimtj100
I don't know if we could get a 1st, but I could see us getting a Donato level prospect (someone who may have fallen out of favor, or an older prospect). They have a player Tanner Laczynski who is good, but may wind up becoming a college UFA. I've watched a couple OSU games this year and he really stood out. I think maybe 41 and him would be too much and maybe just him too little. Maybe we could get him and like a 3rd or 4th. He currently plays center, but I'm not sure he will translate as one if he makes it to the NHL. |

Yea, B prospect and a 3rd is probably the kinda deal they’d get.
41 is probably to high

you know who's a really good bet to go the Flyers considering the AV factor?
Zuccarello
I hope not, but it's possible |

DAL is in a tough spot to resign him given the condition. |

Ya he’s just not that good. I think he could be a great 4th liner though |

He’s cute I guess looking like a 15 yr old still
All in all, he’s been a pretty disappointing player. I think we all expected more🤷🏻♂️ |

I don't know, if you read some of the stuff on the Athletic from the Stars' writers, it seems that it isn't really a deal-breaker at all. The team loves him. |

Zucc made them a contender tho. They needed a second line badly. I think he resigns there, the first doesn’t really help them now and they’re more of a now team. Such a now team that they should trade for Kreider too! |

I think having the 18th overall pick this year actually helps the cause

A guy I want with that 57th pick is Nolan Foote. |

I’m not making line combos but the top 9 you figure is (assuming they get Panarin)
Panarin
Zib
Kreider
Kakko/Hughes
Kravtsov
Chytil
Buch
Strome
Leimeux (hopefully)
Then the 4th line is mish mosh of Vesey, Lias, Howden, Nam, Nieves and Brendan Smith.
They have to many forwards, its pretty obvious. But that’s not a bad problem to have, and the top 9 looks really really good |

Exactly. If they beat the Blues I can't imagine they would have re-signed him |

Stars have had a first round pick every single year since 2009
that's a remarkable run that needs to end next June |

They just haven't been good enough to warrant spending that first on somebody. |

Good problem to have for sure but some guys get traded to early because of it. I don’t see a spot for both Andersson and Howden if we keep Strome and I don’t think either would benefit from being on the 4th line. The other problem with those two are I don’t think they have a ton of value and could see them start to develop well after they’re traded making us kick ourselves for trading them to soon. The other question is is Chytil going to play center or wing? If we get Panarin the questions become even tougher. |
|
|
|
If we got Panarin and said we’re going for it in 1-2 years would you guys be comfortable with having an extremely young but talented team?
Kakko Zib Chytil
Panarin Andersson Kravtsov
Lemeuix Howden Kreider
Rolling the dice a bit that Andersson develops but if he does that could be fun to watch. |
