I remember there was a funny story when Tikkanen, Graves and Kurri were all Oilers and Graves is a real nice guy obviously, Tik was talking to him, Graves coudnt understand him so he asked Kurri if he could help translate because he is also Finnish and Kurri said "how the (frank) should I know?"

So they are just a few seasons from surpassing 54 years drought wise now.

Tik knew as soon as he shot it. He was lifting his stick for like 5 minutes. Still one of my all time fav Ranger moments.

93 they were up 3-2 on the Kings and had Game 7 at home. If they won it would have been a Toronto/Montreal Final. That would have been crazy up there.

I think Toronto would have beaten them too. I was never a big Kelly Hrudey fan. Obviously Gretz is better by leaps and bounds over anyone on either team, but I think the Leafs were a worse matchup for the Habs. Leafs fans woulda been unsufferable, but that much longer without a Habs cup would make me happy.
