Simmonds has regressed a lot and doesn't have the speed to be a top 6 player IMO. Not worth the money at all on the open market.

The Rangers are actually gonna carry 4 goalies. Shesterkin, Lundqvist, Knight and Georgiev. Goalies are like pitchers or offensive linemen. Can never have enough.

Yeah. Let the young guys get their chance. Quinn seems to be a good coach for these younger players.

Quinn is going to try to build a team mentality with these younger guys. Get a good core of these guys who stick together and maybe add a few pieces down the road. Right now I think he is on the right track building an identity and a cohesive unit. Can't rush this poop

Yea I am not just throwing around money. If you can get a Panirin you do it...but just be cautious about those 2nd/3rd line UFAs...they get crazy money sometimes.

Yeah you want to make sure you diversify your lineup which is why you should take Leo Komarov, so you can mix in a below-replacement-level fifth liner

He gives it his all, but I don't think he can make the jump to the NHL. I will say this, some players could learn from his work ethic and shoot 1st mentality

I wonder how early they can sign extensions? 4 years left on that. If I was the Avs, I'd sign him for 11-12 million extension and in 4-5 seasons after that, I bet that looks like a tremendous bargain.

Devs if they won that 01 series would have been a definitive dynasty, 95-2000-01 and 03. When they lost that Game 6 at home I didn't think they would win on the road in Gm 7. That was the Ray Bourque series.

Carp did mention them adding some beef tho, but Simmonds is to slow. Ferland is the guy I’d want in that area, but hes the guy that probably gets a crazy deal this summer from someone. One of those 6 yrs 30 mill or something
