I have really started appreciating Andrew Copp over this past season. My evaluation of him was incorrect. He really impressed me once he was split from Lowry. The work he did with Appelton and Lemieux was fantastic. I believe he is the reason why Lowry's Corsi is high.

I really like Ehlers, Connor and Roslovic as well. And, who can forget about my main man in net, Hellebyuck.

Lowry is the better play driver.
Copp has the offensive edge, Lowry has the defensive edge, and Lowry is better at “righting the ship” if you will.

Connor and Roslovic make sense, even if I think Connor is super overrated I still love him.
Ehlers and Hellebuyck take way too much flak to make the cut here, especially after the playoffs

No, not perfection.
LB is a good one because he’s just so pretty.
Lowry wasn’t nominated for me because people think he’s a 4C when he’s not

- Rexypoo

My take is that Lowry brings everything expected of him, so no griping.....

You heard that he is gone right away or will this drag out to the trade deadline like we all know was going to happen
- Dcdaddy

From my sources, its confirmed that Trouba will not sign long-term in Winnipeg. When he will get traded is anyone's guess.

Take Lowry away from Perreault and Copp and he gets exposed.

How long did that Lowry-Tanev-Laine line last? Nuff said.

Then you are aware of Copp’s creativity, and Lowry’s constant presence in tight
- Rexypoo

I've never thought of Copp as being creative, but if you say so.

I love Lowry's game, but he is what he is.

How long did anyone play with Laine ? I would suggest that the problem is/was Laine.

What are the chances that Trouba gets offer sheeted? and does Chevy take the 1st, 2nd and 3rd or does he match and then trade Trouba?

Offer sheet could happen, I don't really like the idea of only draft picks in return. my preference is to see an excellent prospect and NHL ready d or 2c in return.

There is a zero chance he signs an offer sheet.
Trouba would never take the chance of the jets matching it, thus keeping him here longer when he has worked this hard to control his own destiny one year away from being a UFA.
He will be traded before or at the draft.

Further more,
Darren Dreger reported today, Trouba trade talks are heating up, there is significant interest.

He should bring back a good return even though he has only one year left to a UFA. RH shot d-man, top-two, are in demand.
Trouba should at least bring back a player who can step in, plus a draft pick. Maybe more?
Wonder if Colin Miller of Vegas would interest the Jets - signed cheap for three more years. Not in a deal for Trouba as Vegas are trying to shed salary, but a separate deal.

Collin Miller makes a lot of sense, depending on cost to acquire

When did he say that? He didn't say that in his new trade bait article. Unless it's in the tsn.ca video that I can't access because I don't live in Canada.

Did he mention specific teams that are interested?

Ya he said it today in the new video on TSN, he didn’t mention any teams, just that he expects it to happen sooner rather than later

I wouldn’t mind that. Tony D is real good, and the 2020 first might be a top pick.

Having said that, DeAngelo does have a bit of a reputation going on, and we’re not in a position to have any more locker room issues added to the pile

I don’t think it matters if a new deal is in place right now, too much interest.
I’d say sounds about right but we might squeeze a little more.
I might really love if we could get one of Myers or Ghost and the 11th overall out of philly.

Winnipeg would be his 4th team. If 3 teams were willing to deal him they don't think much of him. Jets should ask for Hajek instead.

He was on pace for 40, he actually got 30, and he's RFA now, does that mean the Jets have to pay him 6 million on a long term contract if you are going to use the Trouba comparison?

That would be great but the Rangers would never, that’s why I’d never mention it as a possibility
