Kreider like Trouba only has one year left and plays our strongest depth position. With Connor, Ehlers and Vesalainen all left wingers I just don’t see a need or fit for him.
I have no problem including Perreault and Kulikov but would prefer Anderson or howden and deangelo or Hajek coming back with the 20th

Seems like a lot to get rid of Kuli. What would Kreider bring that we don't already have? Why not one of their "young" defensemen?...... are you thinking Kreider replaces Jesus on a shorter contract?.....

I chalked it up to click bait and found it hard to believe this early in the process, if this came out at the end of August because they were still miles apart that would be different.

He shouldn't have gotten 50 points. The Jets were prepared to pay him 10+ million, but he had a terrible season and the only excuse for it was a mysterious back injury that didn't prevent him from missing a game.

What's a 30 goal 50 point player worth 6 million?

MacKenzie reporter that Rangers have lots of cap space and intend on using it as an asset to get a star like Trouba. I am think if that is the case, then why not try and get rid of two contracts. Kreider is not necessarily the player I want in return, but he does provide security in the case both or either Laine and Connor hold out. It also allows the Jets to get aggressive in the free agent market and perhaps take a shot at getting Duchene or Karlsson.

Or do the unthinkable and offersheet Mitch Marner.

Yea - signed Trouba, Laine, Comrie and Perrault to Flor for Trocheck, Ekblad, Borgstrom and their 1st might work for me. Enough? Too much?
