That's a good question. Elite Prospects has him going back to the Finnish Liiga, but who knows? It'd be interesting if he got a camp invite so we could see him play up close. - PrinceChill
There hasn't been a lot of noise about him leaving the Liiga. His contract expires after 19-20, and right now it's believed he will be playing his final year there. |

Probably for the best. He's still a bit light. |

He's skinny, needs to add muscle to his frame. |

What do you think we have to give up to get him? Our late first, nylander and a decent roster player? |

More, not getting him for our spare change. Would cost at least 1 player we really don't want to lose.

Problem is they can't afford to take on a ton of salary
So the pick and a prospect will be the higher value pieces, unless you're taking a cap dump back with him and then the value changes all around |

Right, it all feels unlikely. Our prospects aren't very strong. If it happens, expect Asplund, Samuelson, UPL or someone like Olofsson/Pilut to be included. Pick two guys you really don't want to lose and start from there, not 3 pieces you don't mind losing.

UPL better not be going anywhere.
This sounds like ROR all over again. |

They don't have a ton of cap dump players. I guess you could offer to take Clarkson off their hands if that helps them during the summer |

Fair enough, Skinner gone too then? - Lunaion
No, I see Skinner and Olo as the top 2 LW's

Slow in catching up...
Olofsson - 1/2LW
Skinner -1/2LW
Sheary - 3LW for 1 year
ERod - 4C
Nylander - added to trade package as a minor sweetener
Wilson/Girgs - 13th F
Wilson/Girgs - left to walk away
Smith - 3LW in 2020-21 - IonSabres
I agree with this post. It's basically what i said earlier. Glad to see that you don't have Sobotka anywhere near the team as well.

Vegas has to move salary and that's before signing Wild Bill...
So take someone back and I think there is a deal to be made |

The additional wrinkle is that Wild Bill really only makes sense if you can retain him at or near his current cap level.
Anything significantly higher is just another bad contract. They eventually add up

They do. Keep hearing Colin Miller+ going and Karlsson staying. I don't see Karlsson going. Plenty of interesting possibilities there.

I looked at their cap, with the Stone extension they really need to move way more than Miller's $3 million to keep Karlsson |

I think 6 years at $6-$6.5 per works |

They don't want salary in return. I'd say Borgen and Nylander get you close. |
