Your standard are pretty low in regards to gmtm's drafting.

Decent streak? Bs - Boss34
I never said his drafting was "good", Boss. Relatively speaking, you have promising guys that were drafted. As opposed to Regier's YEARS of worthlessness. So yeah, it's better. |

This is the same reporter who said the devil's were finalists for dehaan.....the devil's didn't have an offer out for dehaan
The article from the 4th period has quotes from his agent saying that they have been in good communication with Shero and that he can't talk about contract status (can't sign anything until July 1st either way) - dmarsden2988
I just read it. The conclusion from Pagnotta is crap. |

McKeene's top 10
1 Jack Hughes
2 Kaapo Kakko
3 Bowen Byram
4 Kirby Dach
5 Dylan Cozens
6 Trevor Zegras
7 Alex Turcotte
8 Peyton Krebs
9 Philip Broberg
10 Victor Soderstrom
Pod, Boldy and Caufield are the next 3. McKeene and ISS seem to usually go against the majority. |

If hall leaves it will be to go to a contending team which is understandable since he has only played a handful of playoff games in his career.
But there is very little chance he would be telling people that he won't sign but not ask for a trade.
He said that he wants to see what this off-season brings and there needs more talent and Shero agreed that he needs to bring more talent and better players.
It's 50/50 but yeah the reporter is a hack |

I'll admit he's growing on me. For these young kids I think attitude matters quite a bit, his interview on the Instigators (??? not sure if that was it but heard a clip) where he was very well spoken, talked a lot about needing a higher compete to get around his vertical challenges...seemed like a good kid.
You know who I want, but if it's him, I'll still be very excited. - RhinoFan

Yup based on nhl media from the combine they think Turcotte is a top 5 pick now.
If the Sabres could swing zebras, caulfield, or boldy. I would be fine with it. (Pending Turcotte already taken) |

I'm afraid you're likely right. He's the pick I zeroed in on a couple months ago, but I wouldn't bet he'd be there at 7 now. |

Percentage wise, Murray is shaping up to be more successful than Darcy, when you take 2004-2011.

If it weren’t for the injuries he would have been the consensus 3 all year. If Sabres won 3rd pick he would have been the player I would of hoped for. |

it sure seems to be leaning that way. He's getting pumped up by media as the best, most complete guy outside the top 2.
We shall see. Hoping he makes it to 7. No idea if trading up for him will be worth it in the long run. A lot of these guys 3-12 are shaping up to be similarly gifted. |

Regier was actually very good at drafting. His problem is that he paid his draft picks like stars. |

Turcotte would be a lucky win after losing this lottery.

He plays a fantastic 200 ft game for a player his age. If it translates over to the NHL he’ll be a stud. He doesn’t really have many holes in his game you can pick at. Chicago boy, could be their next Toews. |

Wings are going Centre by the looks of it. They really scouted Dach heavily in the WHL playoffs |
