He's a 22 year old kid who makes $10M a year. I'd live it up too. - Wetbandit1
No he should be in his room studying the Play book every single day |
|
|
|
olofsson is a pure left winger, not gonna happen
right now if it's not sam on rw
it's nylander, thompson, okposo or someone not on the roster - homiedclown
Nylander has barely played any RW either. They need to bring in a few.

Good thing ek9 took John Jack under his wing.
Probably learned some new things as a 19 and 20 year old.
Why would Kim pegula trade him?
Or, do we not talk about his failed playoffs?
Fighting with the back up goalie.
Great guy |

What should he be making? You know the guy that was going to hit 90+ if he didn’t get hurt - gerbe75pts
OBJECTION!!!
Speculation and conjecture.
The facts are he didn't Sir.
$10m should
- produce 100pts
- be solid 2 way player
Captain should move the team, not just a linemate forward, hold teammates accountable.
But this is Buffalo, a proven losing culture, so ya know...whatever is good. No real expectations, we take what they give.

Hockey players are among the biggest partiers, and always have been.
And frankly, who gives a sh!t? I mean, really, THIS is the focus now? Tear down our best player because he has a few?
You guys must be really (frank)ing bored. - Powerslave
Umm I wasn’t tearing him down at all. Thought I was giving reasons to support the opposite but to each their own. |

Patty Kane was the only other player in the top 20 in PPG that didn’t have a teammate there with him. I think the only complaint about Jack that is relevant is that he needs to work on his defensive game. The offensive numbers will continue to rise, especially if we actually acquire a star player to play with him. |

You aren’t wrong .... Eichel is often lazy In his own end. Hopefully Ralphy will hold him accountable.
Eichel needs someone to challenge him though. He can’t think he runs everything with him being captain. |

Swap Eichel and Matthews and instead of Boston winning the cup this year, Toronto is ending it’s drought. |

Not really.
Some on here believe Jack is a God, can do no wrong.
Fact is, he is young and immature...and very, very talented.
He needs to improve his game, and grow as a leader if he wants to be in a top 5 C discussion.
His effort isn't where it needs to be yet.
His leadership is understandably raw, he'll get there.
To insinuate he is great is a reach so far.
He is improving, so hopefully he gets there.

I’m sorry who was the first one to take out Swedish Jesus ? And who was the one talking to teammates during the games and giving them confidence and trying to help them out ?
Immature ? I didn’t see him one time last 2 years break his stick and have a hissy fit |

So we have people who think Skinner is a career 55pt player and will score as much in his 4th year of the contract (his 30yr old season), and people complaining that our slightly underpaid captain isn't worth his contract?
At least some are coming around on Reinhart. |

Yes or no, John Jack is best sabre in 10-15 years?
That's why I like him.
Super exciting in person, when he isnt playing, the games are completely boring.
He brings speed and excitement.
It's an entertainment business and he entertains nightly |

I can see your arguments regarding the effort, leadership, and defensive play. Stick Jack on Boston, Toronto, Tampa though and he puts up 95 points this past season. He is a symbol of criticism for all of the wrong reasons. He’s not a god, but he is undervalued by much of the fan base. |

I think you're selling him short.
If not for the injury, he's got 90 last year, easy
With zero help, other than his linemates.
Put him on those other teams, he may have 110.
GET HIM SOME HELP, BOTTS! |
