People say surround him with talent but don't pay Skinner 9 mill. Surrond him with talent, but don't go after Duchene. Just examples. Gotta bring in good players to succeed. We can't hang with the Leafs, Bruins, Pens, Caps, Bolts, Isles, Canes, Panthers. Unfortunately we have to pay.

I agree. The problem with paying Skinner and Duchene big $$$ is you have to be able to draft well in the future or your Franked.... The Sabres have not really drafted well in rounds 2-5. you have to constantly have ELC coming in to off-set the high contracts that we have.
