I just love the amount of credit going directly to ROR for STL's success.... not the fact that they already have one of the best wingers in the NHL today, not that they have maybe the best top 3 dmen on one team in the NHL, and not an absolutely incredible rookie goaltender carrying the team.

No... it's ROR!

This is Pegullaville 2.0.

Rebuild through 2022. I'm tired of watching the team suck and want good players in their prime NOW so that we can compete NOW.

The biggest problem isn't that most of this team has tuned out anyone behind the bench. The biggest problem is that 5 good players in their prime can't have season-long success when they're the only ones pulling the carriage forward. We need effective talent throughout the lineup now.

How can any Sabres fan really want to start the rebuild over again?

Could have bad coaching led to our downfall?

Eichel has just touched the surface of nhl success

You could say the same thing about KO, with the injuries.

Idk, stats wise, and when you throw in the terrible contract, Turris and Okposo are mirror images of each other.

Looks like a perfectly reasonable comparison to me.

Not even close but it's only arguing on this site, why I waste my time is beyond me. I'll let the suck fest of Eichel continue.

Still no word from Garf on whether Krueger was able to keep his shot of Jack down

I'm not arguing.

I'm stating my opinion.

Isn't that what this site is for?

And what does Eichel have to do with Turris?

Binnington has a .900 save % and a 2.52 gaa in the playoffs.

Which is well below average.

And that was my opinion about Turris, you know the player people freaked over when Arizona dealt him, GERBE included on how the Sabres should have been all over him.

Are you taking it personally 89?

I merely pointed out that STL had a lot more pieces in place than Buffalo did while ROR was here. The Sabres fans and this board are just so pessimistic and their desire to be miserable that something like ROR performing well with another team is the point of emphasis daily.

Not to be happy for a former player... not to be happy that it's not LA, CHI, WSH, TOR, or whatever.... no.. it's just dead set focus on finding new things to be miserable about.

..... he is playing against the best teams in the NHL...

But it is perfectly on par of desire for misery for you to take out every other fact I just stated and forget to mention that Binnington will win the Calder because he went 24-5 with a 1.89 GAA and .927 S% carrying that team.

shocking.

Personally no, fact. ROR may hoist the cup, you can say all you want that he has nothing to do with but you are wrong. You can put him with anyone on that team and he still produces regardless if it's 91 with him or not.

It’s not pessimism. It’s realism.
ROR is a really good player.
ROR May be the best player on the ice for STL currently.
The Sabres traded him for scraps.

Not a good look. But nothing you or I or anyone here can do about it.

Binnington will not win the Calder.

Great Binnington had a Marty Biron like run in the regular season. St Louis has a really good team, ROR is playing the most minutes on that really good team.

You are trying to downplay the importance of him currently.

Binnington has been below average in the playoffs and borderline bad in the cup finals so far.

And now people are starting to female dog about one of our 3 other good players. Surely trading Eichel is a great idea!

And I'll do backflips. ROR is my current favorite player in the NHL and he deserves it.

Buffalo and him were not a good fit... he was traded.

This fan base and message board needs to MOVE THE F*CK ON. Lol. Good grief.

Well he is a 22 year old alcoholic who closes bars the night before games and who is recovering from a coke addiction who has all night benders with hookers with Samson.

Then we have Risto who literally doesn't listen to any coaches because he is a Swiss Cyborg that don't need no coaching. He also has a coke addiction and probably a fish tank of $5 bills instead of $1s because Risto is a guy who does the wrong kind of off season training instead of working on his skating like our local fan base hockey and training experts have pointed out clearly.
