I don't see any of those guys making the pro roster except maybe Rykov. You are right that something has got to give, but I could also see Day and or Crawley going to the ECHL. This is actually a pretty big season for Day, he sort of figured things out somewhat last year, he has to keep turning it on if he wants any kind of pro career here or anywhere else.

CapFriendly just puts players on the big league roster by default until they're officially assigned somewhere else by the team. They have Durandeau on the Isles roster right now and I guarantee you he's not on the opening night roster

I bet, if they don’t get moved, Smith will be 4th line pretty much guaranteed and Staal and Shatty alternate as the 7th D all season w/ only playing one per game. I honestly think that’s the best route for the org. 2 more years of them all isn’t going to kill them.

Then you have Foxy, Hajek, AD, Lindgren, Skjei and Rykov in some shape or form. Pionk is the one that actually needs to go imo, maybe a for third or included in something bigger
