Those two teams match up very well, been saying it for a month now haha - Slimtj100
Agreed! The cap would need some fixing but in a single trade the Oilers would add three wingers better than any of their natural wingers and stayed in the 1st round in a spot where they can likely still draft my sleeper pick- though my sleepers always get taken ahead of where they're ranked.
Nam- McDavid- Draisaitl
Vesey- Nuge- Buch
Pretty much fixes the short term forward issues immediately. |

I liken Svech to Hall often and Hall was in range for ~50 as a rookie (prorated) and I think it's fair to put Kakko in a similar tier of prospect to those two. The adjustment factor can play into things moreso for some than others (Barkov Vs Pettersson) so I like to undershoot and be pleasantly surprised instead. - MaximumBone
Makes sense to me. |

I actually think Buch and 20 for 8 is very possible, for realz. I like it for both teams. |

Ya, you guys need wingers to play with McD/Draisaitl/RNH. If we draft Kakko and sign Panarin we have an abundance of 2nd/3rd line wingers. Match up very nice for a trade. |

Sharks confirmed earlier today that EK had groin surgery last week and has already begun rehab. It is expected that he will recover in time to play this upcoming season... |

Completely agreed! I can imagine Puljujarvi finding more success in a youth movement like yours than in a fed-up fishbowl like Edmonton is right now. I'm not the biggest fan of Nam but Vesey is a solid asset and Buch is the centerpiece. |

If Vesey could finish 1/2 his chances he would easily be a high 20's goal scorer. Never seen somebody hit so many posts or miss open nets. Dude works hard, I've been a fan despite his finishing abilities. Stinky works hard too. Buch is the wild card. He has top end skill but has tended to disappear for long stretches. He was great the last few months of the season though. Seemed like Quinn might have got through to him |

Buch tracks well by a number of measures that I value highly. I believe he'd be an excellent fit on the 2nd line with Nuge. |

Wouldn't be better there than Draisaitl is and the point of acquiring wingers is so Nuge doesn't have to play hard minutes with Lucic/Khaira and Rattie/Chiasson ever again. Get the boy some skill! |

They've historically not scored as well together as 1st line production would require. Better to keep the league's best duo together and find wingers to boost Nuge into the 1st or high-2nd line production category. |

Yeah, but I feel that part of Edmonton's problem is while the first line is otherwordly, they are a very top heavy team. If RNH doesn't have chemistry with Drastil that's one thing, but you'd be better served balancing your lines a little bit. McD is going to carry whoever you throw with him, but you need that scoring down your lineup.
Besides, you always can still play the two together on PP1. |

I dont know man, I am not the biggest RNH guy at all
I feel like he's been there forever and he's just "there"
the one year they made the playoffs and went on a semi little run he barely even contributed offensively
they'd be smart to trade him now after his best offensive season of his career |

not sure how accurate this is but it may be that Reunanen goes back to Finland after training camp, unless he just dazzles. Lots of competition on left side for him to make it right out of gate.
