Bolts planning on expanding Cirelli's role this fall including first team pp, so I doubt they are moving him at this time unless wowed - homiedclown
I wouldn’t think they’d dump him but he’s looking at a big payday if PP points make him a 60 point two way player at 22. |

Risto and 31 for an extended Trouba at $7m or less, 6 years - IonSabres
Why would Trouba sign that deal? |

Why would Trouba sign that deal? - Lunaion
For $7m reasons.
That seems to be the most popular contract value.
Maybe he gets more? |

Not really @ you, 89, but here is to the larger convo.
A friend of mine is good friends with a former 2nd overall pick that some would say has had a disappointing career hampered with injuries. Went to his wedding and has been to his home in Idaho. Got him into red wine. Not Eichel or Reinhardt. Rhymes with Robby Byan.
Anyways, apparently Karlsson hates going out for dinner and being interrupted by annoying douche sens fans (are there any other type?) while eating in restaurants. Prefers more anonymity while he dines and not 34 douches walking up to him and asking for a selfie.
If his wife want to live close to home, and snaps the whip, I can see him going back to Ottawa. Montreal? Their rabid fan base is even more obnoxious and douchey.
Buffalo, despite its amount of douches, may be a good landing place for him. - Da_Cashman

With the quandary The Peg is in to resign their players, coupled with Trouba history with respect to Trade Requests and not settling on long term contract last year tells me he wants and needs to go.
I'm not sure though that The Peg would want to spend $5+m on Risto...to me that is the bigger issue.
If Trouba won't extend at around $7m, then pass on it. |

Who was it on here that said Patrick Laine now isn't happy playing in Winnepeg either???
Is there any actual truth to that other than he said/she said on a message board?
You wanna talk about who I'd trade the #7 for.... that'd be it and the extra clout it'd take to get him.
#7, Nylander, and another piece like McCabe or someone.

Trouba picked a helluva year to have his break out year then.
Before this past season when he put up 50, he was the 69th defensemen in the NHL in points. Making more than Risto.
This past year was also only the 2nd time in his 6 year career he played more than 65 games.
I still don't trade Risto+ for Trouba. - JVince11
This was his 24 year old year, which is typically around the age d men break out. My proposal was also 7 for Trouba, not Risto + |

I was going to post that JT Miller is a guy TB might look to ship out, so I checked out capfriendly. Holy moly does that team have some long contracts, looking at you Ryan McD. Not too much that's absurd in terms of AAV, but not a ton of flexibility there. |

No... their entire top 9 and top 4 on D is basically locked up on 5x5s besides Stamkos, Kucherov, Hedman, and McDonough.
they are gonna HAVE to try to get Callahan out the door with a talented top 6 winger just for space to sign Sergachev, Point, Pacquette, and fill out their bottom 2 pairings. |

“That was my first start,” Allen said. “I was trying to change the protection. I said different words than what they actually meant and what I actually meant to say. The line was all discombobulated. It was all my fault, and there was nothing I could do about it. It was just kind of one of those baptism by fire deals.”
Straight from Josh Allen’s mouth...

Every year I think team X is totally screwed with the cap, and every year that team finds a way to offload their problems. Wish the Sabres could find a way, although their cap situation isn't exactly dire.
You're right, Callahan is a problem for them but it's only one more year. I think it's accurate they'll find a home for him but it'll indeed cost them someone they like. |

Considering the complexities of offenses, lining up against complex, talented, and psychopathic defenses, wrapped in the sheer speed of the game, I think it's very rare any QB is truly ready for his first NFL start. |

I don’t disagree
Especially coming from Wyoming
I do think he took some steps after he came back from the injury
It’ll be interesting to see just how much he can progress with a full offseason with Dabol |

Yeah, pretty much the whole season hinges on this guy. Defense should be good, but ya GOTTA score points. |
