The Oilersnation boys have a hard on for Kerby Dach
- Reveen.

I much prefer Cozens out of the two. The speed and shot are something we need and having his solid two-way game as a foundation is much preferred. Beyond that, his primary points/60 rates are around Draisaitl's draft year (might be slightly above iirc) while Dach's is a few steps down.

I think Cozens' game seems more translatable to the pro level thanks to his skating and power-game. Dach may have a higher ceiling, but that comes alongside a higher bust potential in my opinion. Stylistically, I look at the two and see Jason Spezza in Dach and Evander Kane (sans physicality) in Cozens.

His FO% is 41.2 which is brutal and I’m just not a fan....maybe if you converted him into a winger but still

Why would he want to? Edmonton is a mess. So much talent wasted.

One could say the same about StLouis prior to the team going on a hot streak....

I always wonder how many Richards are in a sack like honestly I think I'd get full after probably 6, 7 tops

If it is MaximumBone Richards, then 3.

If it is Senators-fan Richards, then 47.

Well it only took them around 50 years to get back to the finals....that’s a pretty high success rate

Now some are saying we might be looking at Broberg at 8th? I like the draft but I really hate it at times too

Broberg would be smart..... the guy can skate and move the puck. Hes supposedly has a great hockey IQ and makes smart plays.

Not so sure about hockey IQ....has struggled with bad decision making and turnovers

What I've read supports this. He's a boom-bust type that has every physical tool but not the mind tuned for it. Like Nurse sans the fighting.

I'm strongly against drafting a Dman with that pick unless it's Byram.

I wouldn’t want Taylor Hall on my team... he cares more about the waitresses at Cactus Club than the overall performance of the team... and that’s very much why he and Eberle got moved out.

They say turnovers are an issue but hes come a long way in that regard. With that said he is praised for his hockey IQ and ability to make quick decisions.

I would imagine Byram will be gone at #3. Also, I'd consider taking Soderstrom over Broberg.

No thanks. Always injured, cant back check approaching 30, no way he will be worth what he wants. Move on from the trade already.

Probably not. But it would make me deliriously happy. We’d be a contender the next day.
Worst trade in oilers history

Factoring in the likely cost of his next contract and his consistent injury history, I would be apprehensive about signing him anyway. He's certainly an exceptional player but, if I'm choosing, I pick a Zucker at 5.5mil and Kapanen at ~4.5mil for about the same cap hit over Hall at 10mil.
- MaximumBone

Seems like McDavid is starting to have a consistent injury history as well. It's hard playing when the whole team is on your back

If he’s waiting for free agency to pick a team that has a chance at winning the cup, then there’s zero chance that will be Edmonton. Now hometown Calgary......
