Another way to look at this is can the canadiens have 2 guys consuming over 21 million in cap space for the next 7 years? Maybe I don't know. If Karlsson comes at a Subban price 9 - 9.5 then do it but I think it will cost 11 - 12 million and I am not sure you want that but it could work in the short term which I thought Bergy was avoiding that mentally. As for Alzner being moved I do not think so unless you include a significant roster player or a couple of A prospects
