Karlsson is not here as we speak my friend.
- deadpoulet

Nope. He's at home, recovering from that hip surgery.

2 major surgeries in 3 years... and not for the same problem mind you

Mete is a top4 on a team who didn't make the playoffs. he has 0 goals in over a 100 games!
- fidopro

I'm sure the little guy is just gonna explode in scoring next season, he seems to have the skillset for it, he was just cursed

Nobody should, he'll need time to adjust to smaller ice as well. Probably a year in Laval would do him good.
- BashCH

I don't think he will agree to play in Laval. He'll stay in the KHL.

Supposedly the surgery was a complete success, whatever that implies

Karlsson's health is scary. Giving him long-term at massive cap hit will be the riskiest contract this summer.
- RogerRoeper

In the last 2 seasons Auston Matthews has missed 34 games. In the last 6 season Erik Karlsson has missed 45. So maybe worry about the massive contract the Leafs have starting July 1st and his injury prone status...just a thought

I think he'll agree to play in Laval if he believes it will benefits his development.

I think Duchene would be a more realistic acquisition for MTL

Why? You have to believe the organization has some faith in all the young C they just acquired, including Domi... why is Duchene needed now? He was needed 18 months ago... let's clog up the middle so all those kids that prefer playing C and have been the whole lives can just be thrown to the wing?

Apples and oranges. Karksson is 7 years older and has sustained devestating injuries that affect him. Matthews' injuries are very typical.

Are you really trying to say Matthews is a bigger injury concern? Karlsson had surgery 2 days ago..

I must say I agree..... while the possibility to move Domi back to the wing should be considered.... how do you remove him from a position that made him perform better than ever before?

And you also need to leave some room for KK to progress towards becoming the team's #1 centre.

It wasn't performed by habs medical staff so I'm confident he'll make a full recovery
