I must say I agree..... while the possibility to move Domi back to the wing should be considered.... how do you remove him from a position that made him perform better than ever before?

And you also need to leave some room for KK to progress towards becoming the team's #1 centre.

- Scabeh

I would be open to moving Domi back to the wing if Kotkaniemi and Poehling really step up as C, but don't do it for 7 years of Matt Duchene at 9 million +

Apples and oranges. Karksson is 7 years older and has sustained devestating injuries that affect him. Matthews' injuries are very typical.

Are you really trying to say Matthews is a bigger injury concern? Karlsson had surgery 2 days ago..

- RogerRoeper

I don't think Matthews's injuries are as concerning as Karlsson's.... but so far his shoulders do look a little fragile.

He's still very young though, some training could help correct the situation.... If I remember correctly, RNH had similar problems in his first two seasons and hasn't hada shoulder injury since.

Why? You have to believe the organization has some faith in all the young C they just acquired, including Domi... why is Duchene needed now? He was needed 18 months ago... let's clog up the middle so all those kids that prefer playing C and have been the whole lives can just be thrown to the wing?

Only addition they should be looking for up front is a scoring RW

Shoulder injuries never tend to heal quite right and Matthews has already missed major chunks of 2 out of 3 pro seasons. Karlsson isn't even a Hab so my concern is minimal however if you're not concerned with Matthews' injury history and potential you're just lying to yourself. Mostly my point was I see your obvious trolling and pointed out you may want to worry about the dog poop in your own yard first

Karlsson has admitted he can't turn like he once did and the bone in his foot was shaved down. He's never looked the same since his last major injury.

Say whatever you'd like, troll as hard as you want. Karlsson isn't a Hab so until he is my concern is minimal. Matthews just bent the Leafs over on a contract, looks soft as theatre butter and had already shown signs of being an ongoing injury concern. Go clean up after your dog first before trying to discuss poop in somebody else's yard...or just admit you're trolling and doing your best to hide it...either way

I wouldn't mind Eberle, I think he would do fine with this F group... I wouldn't go over 4 years and at that point he'd go somewhere else but I think he would be a solid addition

I'd offer him 5 years at 5.5M... I feel that's a fair offer without going overboard.

Anything more and i'd walk away.

Pointing out his injuries is trolling?

Matthews is the best goal scorer since Oveckckin. Goals are at a premium, YOu think Marner deserves, what as much or more? He has 0 30 goal seasons.

It's actually a pretty big year for UFA's..... Panarin is obviously the grand prize out there if you ask me.

I don't think Duchene signs in here, but let's say he would. Don't you think they move Danault et voilà?

When did Marner get brought up? Nice deflection but totally has nothing to do with it. (Although if past is prologue Marner will bend the Leafs over in contract negotiations too)

Matthews is injury prone and soft as 10 ply toilet paper. Deal with it. And yeah...you're trolling, you know you're trolling, you're trying to hide it but can't even admit it when called on it. At least Bolts91 had a shtick...it was sad but at least it was something

They eventually will need to move Danault even without Douche
