unless they have a super fantastic camp, I think they will both start in Laval. they need to play a lot, top6 minutes PP, Pk...
in Mtl they would be reduced to split duties on the 4th line. not happening imo. - fidopro
They have an immediate need for a right handed, offensive minded forward who can shot the puck and help the PP... Suzuki checks all those boxes and unless MB upgrades the top 6 over the summer, the other options on the right side after Gallagher are Shaw, Armia and Weal, not exactly an impossible bunch to beat out |

so from Junior to top6 NHL! and you expect Habs to make the playoffs?
I tihnk we can agree that kk is ahead of Suzuki, and even though he had a good 1st pro season, 'il en avait plein ses bottes' on the 3rd line.
and now you want to play Suzuki top6?
like I told you the other day, you're ahead of the curve. wait a 1 year or 2.
nothing wrong with the kids playing a lot in Laval. if they burn the league call them up! that gives MB time to trade the guys they will replace.
the only way I could see it happening, is if they play him 3rd line and give him some PP time. but even then, they would have to trade a few forwards to make room. Armia? Byron? Lekhonen? I highly doubt CJ and MB want to let them go at this time. |

I didn't say he should go right into the top 6, I said they need an offensive player that plays the right side and can play the PP... Marner, Barzal, Domi are just a few guys who made the jump with incredible success after 2 years of juniors following their draft year... everyone still makes it sound like its unheard of, its not the 90's anymore, young players are breaking through all over the NHL and making impacts right away

you realize I could name 100 times more guys who didn't yes.
you must be the optimistic type
true that the league is getting younger, mainly because of the cap. Habs have no cap issues.
we'll see. the good thing is that he has his faith in his hands. up to him to prove he deserves to make the team. |

It will come down to what moves MB makes over the summer and of course, what kind of camp he has |

well I told you. MB won't make any moves this summer to open a spot for kids. it's not the way it works.
kids need to steal their spot at camp, only then will MB trade a forward to open a spot. and even then, MB could tell the kid to start in Laval to give him time to make the trade. we've seen that many times before.

He wont make a trade to open a spot, he may make a trade to improve another area, opening the door for someone else...
Both starting the season in Laval wouldn't be a bad thing, I just don't think it will turn out that way... and yes, part of me is a little eager to see them on the big stage |

I'll give you one thing, pair them with KK on the 3rd line and they could not do worst than Lek and Armia did last year. offensively I mean. |

And that's what I mean, the competition isn't exactly high caliber, nothing against Armia and Lehkonen, I don't dislike either but this team needs more offense, did those 2 even reach 50 points combined? If there's an upgrade within the organization and they can prove to be ready to step in, you don't use them because they're 20 years old? Like I said earlier, Armia and Lehkonen have been left out of the contracts being handed out along with Benn, Hudon and Reilly, might tell you something right there |

but Armia is big, a rare thing on the Habs, and Lek 'is very good without the puck'. and then there's still Byron. lots of forwards lol
now I don't think their contract status has anything to do with that. they will be signed. both of them.
but if they don't produce more next year, and Suzuki and Poehling are burning hot in Laval.... they could both be traded after x-mas and kids called up. that I believe 100% |

Not sure they could.
Officially, Drake has no ties to the raptors.
He's just their #1 Millionaire fan. |

Couple of videos of fans fighting in the stands during last night's game in Boston.
Bruins fans really are the second worst. |

After Leafs fans, right?
Also, looking at Cam Neely's reaction, you can see it's a culture thing |
