meh, if they're gonna trade a few forwards I'd prefer them to get a LD ready to play top4 minutes, not a prospect.
EDM is looking for wingers, maybe we can get Nurse or Klefbom

Oh no question, I just don't think the Habs have that kind of winger to spare, unless you truly believe MB will trade Drouin this summer.... Oilers are not in great shape cap wise, it would be somewhat of a hurdle in dealing with them also

I say no to that, better chance Neal gives you value over Lucic...

How about Drouin + Armia + Juulsen for Nurse + Puljujarvi?

Absolutely... you'd definitely be banking on the whole change of scenery theory, and it's far from a guarantee

In a way, but that's just reshuffling sh!t and in my opinion, the team that ends up with Neal wins the trade, I think he has the better chance at bouncing back and give you close to value... and if Calgary's hope is to save cap space, this trade doesn't really do it

these are all cap dumps for sure. none of these teams will get something good for any of these players.

Not something good no, but if a team feels Neal could bounce back, they could get a shorter, cheaper contract back that they could possibly buy back and save significantly going from Neal's 5.75 cap hit to a 1.5 buyout or so.... Alzner's contract is a pretty good example actually
