Tough one. Depends on what they ask for, i guess. I'd rather the sabres use assets to acquire forwards, but there's no doubt he would help

if they want to compete this fall, I think they need to upgrade the goalie, even if it's for 1 year


then again I feel if skinner walks, it's a tough hill to climb to compete this fall not matter what, shy of signing duchene or panarin

Goaltending is a mental position. Housley continually pulled the rug out from under these guys with his rotation. If Krueger can get the guys to buy into a simple defensive system - and as cliche as it sounds - get them to believe in themselves, i think the position should be sufficient for this year.

There were some truly poop goaltending situations in the league on pretty good playoff teams. I'd focus the assets on some forwards that can play in the offensive zone, and get at least one defenseman who is good at defense. I think it'll make the goalies look better

I don't buy into the whole, Terry would rather have player A over player B, even though player B is better, culture thing.
