I hate to say it, but it seems like that team is projecting up. They could use a netminder, but that team is gonna start scoring some goals soon.

If Hall stays, they could have two very strong lines at Forward, and slap together a few decent players to make a decent third.

I’d send an offer sheet to Kapanen. Hell, if I was any team, I’d try to offer sheet Kapanen. He can be had reasonably, and Toronto might just take the compensation picks considering who they need to pay first.

Actually they would have. Bowman's team "trapped" somewhat but not to the extent of the Devils. The Habs, unfortunately, had a tremendous team back then. The Devils were good but the Habs were just too powerful.

Well, don't the Devils kind of have to wait until after July 1st anyway, since Hall technically is isn't in the last year of his contract until then or do rules not count for them? Let's just throw reality out the door and have some other team offer sheet Taylor Hall right now even though he isn't an RFA or a UFA for that matter!
