Why not just do 22 and 33 for 13 then and separately trade Toffoli and get a 3rd back or something? Representing the Wild, I'd easily give you a 3rd for him.

No ill will or negative tone here but, if a minor criticism of your trade ruins the fun for you, then that's a you problem. Read the criticism, reassess and then propose a new deal that strikes a better balance. Part of the fun for me is knowing my ideas will be critiqued and that I can learn to improve them.

Lol. No one sees what I was doing or why. I really don’t care, I just don’t feel like arguing with a bunch of misfits over a fake trade. It’s supposed to be for fun, making fake trades is fun.

If I may suggest that part of the fun for those not directly involved is getting to have some sliver of say in the matter. It's fair if you don't want to put forth that effort, but I think that's part of putting your ideas out there in blog form. I'm fully prepared for my selection to be harassed out of existence

You would definitely not be a good candidate for a debate team..

I think this draft you want to be top 15, that’s where the gold is. And I had two gold bars in my hands for LA! And one slipped through my fingers

I think trades are too difficult with this, we probably are best just doing straight up mock draft without trades

Why is it too difficult? I get that the trade is between the two parties for their respective teams, but it gives the board something to discuss. Who gives a flying (frank) if people are for or against it. The only way it should be overturned is if its a landslide no in the vote.

I welcome the trade talk. The part of this exercise is to have fun, the trade discussions and the evaluations therein aid in that endeavor, even if the deal is viewed to be unfair.

Believe they can only sign him for seven not eight years. They must be really confident about inking him if giving up that high of a pick.

Makes no sense for Panarin to not wait a couple weeks. To many teams want him

JIMBO
I just PM'd you a trade proposal.

For everyone else, this should be used as a guide...

Google
MICHAEL SCHUCKERS’ DRAFT PICK VALUE CHART

A professor at St. Lawrence University and a statistical consultant, Michael Schuckers also crunched some numbers to objectively determine the value of an NHL draft pick. To do this he looked at all the draft picks between 1988 and 1997 and determined the expected value of a draft pick by taking games played into consideration*. Maybe not perfect, but nonetheless it gives us another set of data to work with.

They didn't actually trade for his rights though. It's just EK babble.

We should agree on a value chart as a way to judge trades.
It gets harder with players involved as their "value" is perception of the two involved.
But a chart is a good start

Or or or...peeps could just look at a trade and be like oh, ha, ok, cool, etc. Something like that
