Hearing from the voices in my head that Babcock really wants Doughty. Leafs are prepared to sign both Duchene AND Panarin, and then trade them both for Doughty. Dubas doesn't understand why all the other dinosaur GMs aren't exploiting this sign and trade idea.

Last week Panarin was going everywhere EXCEPT Florida, this week he's a draft pick away from buying groceries at Publix. This guy is a riot.

The Flyers will then offer sheet Marner and the Leafs will match forcing Dubas to trade Nylander to the Canucks. The Canucks will buy out Loui Eriksson and the Isles will sign him after Anders Lee signs with the Devils. This forces Shero to trade Taylor Hall to the Preds for PK Subban. But then this forces Poile to trade Turris back to the Sens to reach the Cap floor. More to come...

I heard from rumblings in my stomach after chugging a large pail of Turbo ex lax that there may be as many as 12 sign and trade offer sheets this summer. A source who may or may not be Napoleon's brother, Barney Bonaparte, swears to me in French that he heard from a reliable source from Paris that Jacob Trouba will be signed by the Jets for 8 years and traded for Zaitsev and Marleau. Ek is right. The Leafs are definitely signing Zuccarello. Stay tuned...
