Agreed. Glad it wasn't called. Really glad because it was the B's.

Embellishment. Bruins players took out STL players legs like 6 times in the last two periods refs could have literally called a penalty vs Boston every shift.

Is what it is.

a dive? come on man, he isn't going to purposely slam his head on the ice. I don't care how strong of a skater you are, when a player kicks the back of your leg out, you are going down. I'm rooting for the Blues so go Blues but that was a terrible non call

Crap reffing all playoffs long, and we're even getting it in the SCF. Should be the best refs out there and they're still screwing it up. I sure hope they make some changes in the off season to get consistency and clarity on calls. The game being fast shouldn't be used as an excuse, they're pros.

Love all the jealous B's haters justifying the no call. You poor people.

He may as well have tomahawked him it was that obvious. Should've just blown it dead when Acciari was prone and the zone wasn't cleared and it's not a giant issue. Oh well Blues caught a break and won a game they maybe lose otherwise. Shame they have direct influence but it's an ancient story.

I think in that tenth of a second after both legs were taken out with force he decided to embellish and crack is head on the ice. Very obvious really.

This happens every time when a controversy event takes place. Someone always goes to slow motion to look for evidence to justify something. Maybe the person blinks or their hand twitches at a specific time then others get tricked into believing it is a giant conspiracy because they don't know better.

His right leg flew up after contact was made with his left...soooooo embellishment? Really? So he embellished his head hitting the ice? Did he embellish his knee ending up stretched back to his mouth too? Maybe he planned to do this in the 1st period because he knew they would need a PP?

Let's look at this logically. Do you expect the right leg to gently fold over and have him land in a comfortable manor? Sadly we live in a world with this thing called gravity. You have a player on the ice wearing skates with very little friction while his knees are bent (locked in place) and his body mass is now forcing him backwards. What happens to the right leg if it stays in the same position? It snaps. What happens when the human instinct kicks in that the body is in trouble? It reacts in very odd ways to avoid that danger. No different if an object is thrown at a person (heavy, sharp, soft, mushy) and they react at the last second, they flare their arms up and get out of the way in the weirdest possible ways even before they know what is being thrown at them. No one effortlessly ducks. This is basically something everyone learns after, I don't know...maybe after 2 years of living.

While i agree with you, it always comes down to slow mo, thats because these things are so difficult to interpret at the speed of an nhl game. Which is why when i see people moan and whinge about "bad calls" it bugs me. The nhl has some of the best officating of the major sports given the speed of the game.

I get what youre saying about the right leg coming up on a trip to the left doesnt necessarily prove embellishment but wow, the leg that wasnt touched went nearly behind his head. Much further and he would be doing backflips. Embellishment doesnt have to mean an intentional fall you know. I have no doubt he was tripped. He just decided to go cirque de soleil on it.

It also looks as if Bozaks stick makes contact with Acciaris blade/puck a split second before the trip which I’m wondering if that also plays into it. If a guy on a breakaway gets the puck knocked away first then is tripped afterward it isn’t called a penalty so ........ 🤷🏼‍♀️

I dont pay attention to the Blues, where did this Binnington come from? It feels like he came outta nowhere and just took over.

When analyzing the replay frame-by-frame, the head is moving back and to the left, which was due to a recoil effect. However; there is forward head snap at the moment of the trip. When analyzed using fundamental classical mechanics, the forward head snap, which is visible in the replay, provides proof that the Bruins player was indeed tripped from behind.

In other words, the Bruins are going to run him.

You admitted it!

And we have it on the record!

He has been more suspect than prospect for years. But last year he decided to take it seriously and changed his training routine and attitude around and rapidly climbed the depth chart.

Will it last? That's the real question.

The Bruins should have just scored 2 more goals

Agreed on the dramatic leg kickback action. If he embellished any more he would have flipped over completely. He only got hit on his left leg but his body reaction was overkill. I bet he would have gotten up a lot faster if they had not scored on the play.

Pretty hard to embellish something like that when you don't see it coming and trust me, I'm rooting hard against the bruins.

Remember when Marchand was just punching the Sedins in the face a few years ago with a mitt on, right in front of the refs, and there was no call?

So does everyone else. Nobody feels bad for Boston. Karma's a female dog.

- Lato649

Incorrect. There was a call on that incident. Daniel Sedin actually got a 10 minute misconduct. True fact.

There was no call however on the play where Mason Raymond, who did not have the puck, had his head pushed down and was driven all the way to the corner boards and rammed into them tailbone first. The Bruins defenceman didn't even get a two minute minor for interference.

So many issues with the Bruins over the years. This is not even a drop in the bucket by comparison. Jacobs won't be happy but he and Gary are the culprits responsible for ruining NHL officiating.
