Probably not the forum to post this opinion...might get water bottles thrown at me... but if the accusations that Berube manipulated the refs with his comments is right... didn’t Cassidy just do that same thing... or at least try? Honestly he’d be negligent as a coach not to but call a spade a ♠️
- ChrisMS

Yes.
He did the same thing.
Just not a well as Berube did.
Chief looked and sounded calm while getting his point across.
Cassidy did not.

Well if a calm Berube scared the refs so bad what does an irate Cassidy do to them?

You remember when they both played right?
Same level of scariness as back then.

Sniffffffffff. Oh yeahhhhhh.
Feels good.
Kinda like our team is only 2 wins from another parade.

Yep, nailed it. I am definitely bitter (for the last 8 years) and jealous (of Boston's continued success) for sure. That's why I am loving this moment. The Bruins are the last team that has any business complaining about missed calls. LOL. The refs handed you your last cup,so it is very fitting that they may have a hand in taking this one away.

My fingers are crossed, hoping your team can't let this go and it costs them the cup this year. Go (anyone but Boston) Go!

The officiating across every series has been poor. Unacceptable in cases as the hand pass or Vegas. Every ref who has worked this post season should be fired.

That being said, The Bruins needed to find ways to win. Real champions power through bad officiating. Whining about it makes you a loser, a Leafs fan...Same thing.

- glove_was_stuck

You still have to take a job at Leaf fans eh you friggin' sore loser, the Bruins have benefited the most by the $hitty officiating out of any team that made the playoffs this season, now because things didn't go your way for one game you have to poke fun of Leaf fans, get a life.....
Also what about that weasel Krug in game 2 who took a run at Robert Thomas from center ice, he should have been penalized for charging on that play and he wasn't...

C'mon Bruins! Here's hoping you guys can find it in you to topple these bastards from St. Louis............There's rough, physical play and then there's the headhunting/goonery of St. Louis. These a**holes are only a reflection of their coach, who was nothing but a goon. Pour it on these MFers !!!

To call that embellishment is actually insane.
- MrBeanTown

Have you watched the angle captured by the NBC feed, because it indicates quite the opposite.

And to be clear I'm no fan of the B's, but I still thought it was a clear trip before I watched the angle shown by the NBC.

Chara double pumped Tavares in the face. No call. Maybe that changed the 1st round series...

Are you guys actually talking embellishment? Have you ever had your leg kicked out from underneath you from behind... On Skates... On Ice...

That is a penalty. Plain and simple.. A play the NHL has been trying to get rid of.

- Mahewman

The guy's other leg went flying over top of his head and nearly kicked the ice.... How is that not embellishment. Then his first thought is to look at the referree... The ref got sick of it cuz the Bruins kept doing garbage like that.... If he'd just fallen it would have been a call. But not with all that acting.

Finally a voice of reason. Yes it was an obvious missed call. Bozak did play the puck, not so sure it was a slew foot as much as a poor read to cheat to where the poke check was going but definitely a trip all the same.

Game 3 ROR gets cross checked in a dangerous area from behind. Doesn't get going on the back check(for obvious reasons) and Coyle scores.

All series I have seen obvious noncalls when it comes to interference where a Blues forechecker is run off pursuit of the puck by a Boston player, giving time to the puck carrier. Normally players have gotten smart with choosing their lanes and timing to disguise it and that's ok imho. But when you make it too onvious it's a call all season long, to include all the play offs until now.

Over the years I learned that winning teams have to overcome the officiating--both the calls and noncalls. Stuff happens. I'd be mad as well but then I'd have to say only one goal with all those chances? Was there seven calls against us? Ok then we failed to get a rebound or beat the goalie at some point. If it was 4-3 then it would matter more.

The Blues had the hand pass agsinst and none of them nor the coach would blame the outcome on it. They would say we missed empty nets and it shouldn't have got that far.

omg... still bitter? You won 3 games by one goal, and lost 4 games by an average of 4.25 goals, including getting shut out 2x, and that was 10 years ago. That series exposed your team to be a bunch of soft ass female doges, but that was 10 years ago. Let it go man.

Bruins are winning tonight.

Honestly I feel terrible that Backes is being scratched. He should be in there. Especially against the Blues. He at the very least is drawing attention from them.

Backes is a (frank)ing plug. Putting Kuhlman in was a master stroke.
