No. He has 4 more years after this one at 7.5.

I think next year he does about 60-65 down from 77. Then will be a 35-55 the rest of the time max.

STL is pretty well set to restart at that point. Parayko 5.5 contract done in 3. and Tarasenko 7.5 done that same year as ROR.

Piets only has 1 more year. Who knows what he will be worth. 10+ easily.

Binnington is an RFA after this season. Schenn is UFA next year and Dunn a RFA next year as well

- JVince11

Ok, your first post was quite confusing.

"Ror is likely to have 2-3 more amazing seasons."

Now he is going to have 1 (60-65 point) not really amazing season. Then plummet to a base of 35-55????

What happened in the 2 hours between posts?

Ror aged 2-3 years in 2 hours?

To those interested in HB Mock Draft,
An updated Trade Proposal -Posted: Sunday @ 11:18 PM ET
To Buffalo
-4OA
-Compher
-*Rights to Brassard (*conditional 2020 2nd if he does not resign)

To Avs

-7OA
-30/31OA
-Nylander

The 4-OA would be A Turcotte as he checks-off most of the boxes the Survey identified as a profile for Sabres pick at 7th.
- Center, #1 position of need
- Attributes, 3 highest ... Sniper, Skating, 200' Game ( maybe not the sniper,
- Ranking, 3rd

Of course, we give up
-7 &30/31 for 4th, a 12% premium according to Schucker's NHL Draft Value chart (900 pts given, versus 800received. I'm ok with that.
-Nylander, but we get JT Compher back.

Both fulfill the Tough to Play Against desire by Bitts and Ralphie-boy

Brassard is a throw-in, if he signs, great..could be a guy to package in a trade (little value now I'm sure)

I'm taking the deal!

- IonSabres

Although I enjoy this post,

There is no way Colorado trades us compner back.
Not even for 7and 31

The (2nd) conditional is probably a push for nylander alone.

And then 4oa - is still coming back to buffalo?

You're crazy!!!

I mean JT is good but he isn't 2 1st round picks good

I mean he's a 30 point 3rd line center

The Blackhawks like trading Brandon Saad. I wonder if there could be a deal there

I'll remember this well thought out response.

I figured a 24 year old center (cost controlled) comptner would fetch something bigger.

66 games 16 goals and 16 assists in a break thru year.

Very noticeable in the playoffs.

30/31 is not a valuable pick, stop acting like its pro football

You're not getting 2 1st rounders for a 35 point 3rd line center no matter what, especially a top 10 pick

That's insane

Even if he turns into a 50 point center nobody is trading a top 10 pick in a deep draft for said player.

I agree with you, but I remember a certain team traded 4 pieces for a 17g and 38a = 55 point 24 year old center?

Same team in Colorado.

We gave up
Compner (35th pick)
Girgerrko (1st rounder)
Zadarov ( 1st)
31st pick

And Jamie mcgin (3rd) in return

There's a reason the GM who made that trade is no longer an NHL GM anymore.

1.) That GM isn't a GM anymore

2.) Players and prospects are viewed much differently than draft picks, each prospect has a different value

3.) O'Reilly had a 60 point and a 55 point season in Colorado, Compher has had half as many points per year

4.) You literally said Colorado wouldn't trade Compher for 7th overall and 30/31st, take your medicine or elaborate some more as to why you think Compher is worth more than 7th overall and 31st overall...

If any GM traded a top 10 pick for JTC, they'd be stoned to death by their fan base.

30/31 might not do it, but a small add to that should. 7OA, alone, is a massive overpayment.

You know as well as anyone that if you say something so crazy you're going to get roasted

One gif and you get all defensive

So yeah I am going to keep going especially after trying to make your point with the ROR trade from Colorado when Compher has been half the player he was.

I still mourn the loss of Paul Gaustad.

I do pay attention. A lot of people don't think so - mostly cause I give them reason NOT to - but I do.
