I agree with this. With cap inflation skinner got 9. Which is fine.

The Sabres overpaying skinner won’t hurt us cap wise. Next summer so many scrubs come off the books. Bogo. Scandella hundwick sheary Sobotka.

At 7, I think it really comes down to Zegras and Caufield at 7, and maybe Boldy.

I think it's a lot of money, but everyone is getting crazy money these days. Marner's contract is going to be gross. Good signing for Buffalo. I'm glad they were able to keep him. It's always more fun for the rivalry when both teams are competitive.

I’m borderline okay with it.

The NHL draft is tricky .... a team might go off the board and pick a later ranked player. So who really knows who will be at 7.
