That is part of dissecting trade roomers on a hockey forum. There is a roomer and we speculate "why the f*ck would they do that?". Same as "why would they draft that player?" Then we pretend to know who they are learning towards. Like you do when you say they are going to draft a defenseman.

I have said many times on here I have no idea who they will draft and I speculate only . I want a Dman but I don't call Benning a fuken idiot because there is a chance he might draft a forward.

For a few years now i’ve said we need RHD & draft them. It hasn’t panned out nor been opportunistic in the drafts of late. We did get Woo later. We do need a dynamic RHD for the obvious reasons. Still it looks like a F will drop to us & if we trade down then it’s to take a RHD. I’m good either way but it has to be homerun at the end of the day. Later picks look to be good for RHD.

I’m really feeling good about who falls to us to choose from. I got why Kotkaniemi went 3rd to the Habs & Hayton to the Yotes. Quite possible another so called reach or more for need could happen before we pick. After the top 3 are gone it’s a crapshoot on a deep draft. Possibly teams will trade to jockey around for 1st rounders. It seems to happen every draft but to what degree this draft idk. Just a guess.

I can see picks 12-20 being a ton of fun on who goes where. 21 & later also being a deep draft. The 2nd rounds & on is what will really get my interest in who the JB’s take. I had him going before 10, and im obviously not a doctor, but im hearing that his specific injury will only keep him out this summer and he should be ready for training camp. I think if teams were hesitant on him from 4-10, might be a little more hesitant now, which works out in our favor if the Canucks really like him.
