honestly, i am less worried at who we get at #10 at the draft, but more worried about what the mentality is off management going into this off season and free agency. Really hope no splashes are made for the sake of it.

Well JB is well known to say it’s 3 parts being draft trade & UFA’s. 2 of em make ppl nervous no doubt. Now let’s be optimistic this is not another polarizing off season of player/picks movements. The fans non-confidence is warranted.

If those two fall through, I can see him just shoring things up with a signing or two like last year, and then trying to explore more via trades, but not getting much done.

I’m thinking talk of a pitch to Panarin will amp up after the SCF is done. EK seems it will drag out on his end of it. The rest of what you say is more likely. JB will be on the phone to seek a top 6 W as a priority.
