Where theres smoke, theres usually fire. It's a totally plausible scenario, LE being traded. I'd be fine with it as long as its not 1 for 1. LE and 10th for Lucic + Puljijarvi + 8th. It would have to be a big enough sweetener to take on that extra year.

I hit the Okanagan pretty much every year to stock up on the good items we can't get in Alberta. Mt Boucherie, Rollingdale, Little Straw...mostly the Mom/Pop places I tend to stay away from the big ones Mission Hill, Quails Gate etc...

Talk was both teams would retain salary on each player and then they could be moved a second time with salary retained again to a bargain-hunting team.

Problem with that theory is that, even if they could move Lucic again, the Canucks would then have retained salary on Lou, Ericksson and Lucic. Aren't you allowed to retain on a maximum of 3? That would prevent the Canucks from using that strategy on Sutter or Tanev later which would impair their ability to maximize returns there.

Better off just giving Ericksson the Sam Gagner special.
