Is it me or is the term "sweetener" the new "asset management".....(frank) Im really starting to hate it. Every god damn fan talks about sweeteners like is a happy ending at the end of Vantels Swedish Massage....like its normal business. In reality, its not.

Sure Edm might throw in a "sweetener" to move Lucic but it wont be a swap of firsts or Puljujarvi.....itd be like a 3rd and a 5th. Let's not get our collective panties wet expecting some great prospect coming over.

Geez, I think we are building LE into something he ain’t. Some have suggested scenarios where we make ourselves worse just to get rid of LE. Crazy.

RD did mention yesterday that he thinks something may happen leading up to the draft.

Go read the Edmonton blog. They seem to be under the impression they’re not really going to have to add to the supposed trade, and if anything vancouver is coming from a weaker position because we want Lucic.

LE was just another example of poor pro player assessment by this management group. It’s becoming a long list. Just live with it and let the contract expire.
