I honestly hope so, he turns 34 in October but does keep himself in great shape but eventually Father Time catches everyone, the Sedins were in great shape too and they still lost a step.

Maybe less time with Eriksson on his line will help, feels weird to have Loui on an “energy line” anyway

- Nucker101

Maybe this is your problem? Are they an energy line or a shut down line?

In the last 3 years Tanev has missed a combined 85 games beagle has missed 29 . It is stupid putting them in the same category

Hey, they are all poop to me. I like 5 guys who played on the roster this past season. The rest are just placeholders until something better comes along.

Yes, as long as public reticule can be the punishment.

As long as we're playing 1984, can we also ban posting roster lineups that include non-canuck players?

Except Beagle doesn't sit in the stands for his contract.
- VANTEL

Beagle - 57 games played
Tanev - 55 games played

Not sure how this matters?

I don’t really remember the 4th line being an effective shutdown line against other top lines this past season.

The last time I remember that was when Green had Sutter, Dorsett and Granlund playing against top lines and doing a decent job of getting under their skin and slowing them down

Where did your boy Motte play this year?

Anyways lets get off this, you hate them big deal.

For the record Sutter Dorsett were an energy third line not shut down fourth line.

Funny, I see them here at UBC all the time. Looks like they are getting real serious about the marathon thingy. Those two are in crazy shape now, very different from their hockey conditioning. They have super slim runners body.

Motte being my boy was a pre-season joke when I mentioned that he never got brought up when people mentioned the roster/scrub competition

I do think he brought the most energy on that line but he isn’t a reliable shutdown line player yet

Plus he makes peanuts and can be waived at anytime.

I don’t hate Beagle as a player but I do think he’s overrated and overpaid. When healthy, I think Sutter is clearly the better player but I’m not sure if Sutter will ever be able to stay healthy at this point

Guys like Pouliot Granlund and LE I hated watching play for this team

Now occupied by Roussel Virtanen and Gaudette who both make peanuts

If they are drafting Newhook or Krebs I am not sure where that leaves him? Maybe Beagles replacement in three years or two?

I like that 3rd line, if they keep Sutter then I’d play him with Beagle instead of having 2 checking defensive centers on 2 different lines

You cross that bridge when you get there then. The first round pick doesn’t always pan out. Some get drafted as C’s and end up as wingers too

Jim Benning on Tryamkin - I don't really know why he left, I think he had his reasons. We did everything on our end to convince him to stay. It could be a maturity thing. I think he made good strides. He sees the good young players in our system and maybe he wants to be part of it

Damn

So either Don is lying or Benning has no clue about what goes on inside of his own team’s locker room?

And if Boston wins then we tell Tryamkin to (frank) off because he’s Russian
