he's going to be a good one. he also may be part of a larger trade as well, like Jake.

I'm going to read way too much into your post and suggest canucks look like they are giving up on development. Hit a home run in the draft or become trade fodder.

I get the desire to trade Virt. Has not met expectations. Understandable. But Gaudette has exceeded expectations for a 5th round pick. Those are the gems you keep.

Build a strong development system and work with these late rounders to find the next Burrows or Hansen.

Now I'm getting angry.

I was enjoying not being emotionally invested in the playoffs, but the Blues seem to have worked their way into my soul as some sort of surrogate Canucks. Now I care what happens to them on Wednesday, sigh.

Thoughts on Game 7, plus notes from Jim Benning's latest presser, in the new blog:

Damn

So either Don is lying or Benning has no clue about what goes on inside of his own team’s locker room?

It's just your deep seeded hate for Boston. We get it.

Edit: get ready to be crushed by those (frank)ers again...

If we want to improve our top 6 scoring or D via trade, how else would you propose to do it without including picks? Something has to give, Sven, Goldobin etc will not get you a quality player in return.

$3M for 3 goals, who can complain?
- Nucker101

Played injured most of the time nowhere near a full season sample-size.

Give it a full 82 games man...

Benning is lying through his teeth lol. He knows why he left and he also knew weeks before he made the announcement and pretended he was shocked. Maybe isn’t so stupid

In the last 3 years Tanev has missed a combined 85 games beagle has missed 29 . It is stupid putting them in the same category

How many games did Sutter miss before being traded to the Canucks, how many had he missed since? We have only one season to compare the two players, and it was roughly the same.
