10th, Sutter, and Hutton for 8th, Puljarvi, and Lucic (NTC waived for expansion draft). Edmonton gets out from Lucic, an upgrade in D, and a veteran they can move to the wing or make their 3LC

Eh, just going off what others wrote... The money owed on his contract after this years bonus compared to the cap hit is what could make it enticing to some. Make it a third then, I don’t mind.

No team needs to reach the cap floor. Colorado has 13 players signed and are 15 mil away .

Ottawa is 14 mil from the cap floor and have 8 players to sign. Unless either team is filling their spots with AHL players they will have no problem hitting the cap floor

Friend was saying the other day that quite a few of the younger players aren't happy with Maurice and his style that doesn't suit their play. Some of the younger players aren't happy with Wheeler and the way he rules the team and his locker room.

Laine has a talent for scoring goals. He's 21 years old. I wouldn't give up on him so soon. Hopefully he stops playing so much fore nite and matures a bit.

The haul you could get for him though. Could change the dynamic of the team. A very quick reset.

I also traded Trouba to Det For Rasmussen and 2- 2nd's

Just rumblings right now as my scout buddies are pretty well connected with the EDM training staff. They are hearing lots of the same. unconfirmed of course but still...troubling to hear that it's being talked about at those levels.
