Alzner + Shaw + 15th overall for Gostisbehere + 11th overall - Streit2ThePoint
Philly would clearly need to add... c'mon, Alzner was a 5th overall pick bud!! |

And you'd take #15 and Shaw? Not sure why this hasn't happened yet? Unless they are waiting until Thursday to be polite - Takemedrunkimhome
In all seriousness I'd want that plus a prospect coming back to Philly. Not Poehling or Suzuki, of course. |

Fine.
FINAL OFFER
Alzner + 15th Overall for Gostisbehere + 11th overall + JvR
That's 5+15 = 20 for 78+11+2 = 91
91/20 = 4.55 x 4.625 cap hit = 21 + 1 extra player from philly = 22 which is Alzner's jersey number so it checks out |

They want to bring in a solid vet D-man and hopefully some help up front in a scoring winger.
Gostisbehere is one player that has high value and is "expendable" to a degree - Streit2ThePoint
Is he not overrated a little as well? That would scare me a little. |

D prospect? Maybe Brook?
Shaw + Brook + 15th and Philly takes Alzner @ 25% retained.... I'll send the paperwork through to the NHL offices |

Offensively, he's a beast... defensively, he'd be paired with Weber |

Pretty sure he was playing as a 5th/6th defenseman on their team at some point. |

Pretty sure Tatar was a healthy scratch for Vegas most of their cup run and he turned out alright |

I would not overpay to deal Alzner. Buy him out if you need to.

I don't think its really overpaying...
And did you not say just yesterday that I'm always low balling offers?
Which is it? |

It was a nice surprise. He came in with Suzuki. Really a bad example.
If you trade the 15 pick plus a top prospect, you better get a pretty good defenseman coming back and not a maybe thing.
I would keep Brook as well. |

Think he was a healthy scratch at one point due to a poopty coach. Pretty sure he also had over 60 points the year before |

He struggled a bit, yes, but was primarily on their second line. Mainly paired with...... MacDonald |

Usually you do, but then you went from that to this.
Like I said, it depends what you see in Ghost, Brook and what they can get with the pick 15. |

I think his value on the market is higher than his value on the ice. I'm sure he could help us, but there's a reason the Flyers might trade him. |

So no trades then... if a player is available through trade, there must be a reason so don't trade for him... that was clearly put on display this year with Domi!
You give nothing, you get nothing.... whatever you think the problem is with Ghost, one thing is for sure, he'd be the best LD on the roster right now |

Why do you want to trade Brook all of a sudden? |

I don't want to trade Brook, but he or Juulsen, even Fleury are definitely expandable if the return is what you're looking for...
And if it's not "hard to beat" why haven't they found one yet? |

When people try to convince themselves that Mikey Riley is a legit top 4 D, yes you go out and pay for something better |
