It's not a fish, I just roll past that dude's comments. MJL I at least stop and read because he makes sense despite the way he expresses himself. But darryl, I see it's him and move on because it's just not worth it. But he keeps on thinking he's "pwning" me or some poop. |

Okay. So Wilson didn't have much to say about him. And that makes him a terrible, uncoachable player?
Ghost's value is that he will push the play and take chances. He's a dynamic player. If you want him to change him game, become a player who doesn't take chances and becomes primarily a defensive player, what value does he bring to the team? I, personally, am glad that he's not going to change how he plays. He can't if he wants to be effective and help the team win.
I agree with you about letting ghost be ghost. That's what they did when he first came to the NHL and lit it up. He played his way.
It's very possible that ghost was simply playing a system that didnt utilIze his strengths at all. If he is given more free range to drive the play and play his game I have no doubt that he will be back near the top of the offensive defensemen list.
If he is traded now it would be a massive undersell. Let him get his game back |

Mine doesn't have any original thoughts. Just comes and comments to the contrary of whomever he targets that day. You could probably count on one had the number of comments he has made that aren't quoting someone else... ie original thoughts. |

you won't find too many Dmen with his offensive skills, rough year but he is extremely valuable and a trade now would be extremely foolish, unless someone made an offer we couldn't refuse. We also don't know if we can replace him on the PP, Sanheim had a strong year but I don't think he can match Ghosts' elusiveness or chemistry with G. If he has another year like last year then we can think about moving him. |

I actually like conversing with MJL if he could just express himself if a less condescending manner. I'm sure he's a nice guy in real life, and he knows his stuff fairly well. I just choose not to interact with him on here and he seems to have made the same choice about me, and it seems to be working out well for us. |

If Ghost doesn’t generate offense, he doesn’t offer much of anything else. Ghost has been the same player his first four seasons. If we keep him, great! If we don’t keep him, that’s great too.
Erik Karlsson is among the cream of the crop of elite offensive defensemen but he isn’t make or break for any team he’s played on in terms of winning it all.
Erik Karlsson isn’t a very good defensive defenseman. |

I'm not sure if your talking about me but I never said he was terrible or uncoachable. I like ghost. I also think Sanheim, Myers, and Provorov will be just as effective in a transition game without being a defensive hindrance. Again, I'm willing to wait and see, but if its more of the same next year I want moves...

I think some are taking Wilson's comments out of context. I think he was legitimately expressing that he wasn't able to find a way to help Gostisbehere out of his funk rather than it being a negative comment towards Gostisbehere.

Wanting changes if the Flyers have another poor season is not the issue. The issue is that you have pre-determined who you're going to get rid of it that happens.

Lucky for me, you know nothing about me or where I am in life. I don't judge you or anyone as a person on here nor do I talk about people in this manner. What I do is comment on opinions and comments. Which is what the forum is for. Those talking about a person on this forum are the ones who need to make some adjustments.

No I am not talking about you. I dont know who in particular keeps saying to move ghost now but I disagree with those who want us to trade him now. I want to give it another season to see how he responds and how well he fits into AV system
with all of that said....I expect a huge bounceback season from ghost. If I'm wrong then shop him around
Provy and sanheim both are going to be a top pair for years to come... or 2 of the top 4...Meyers may be the gem of them all though. If he figure it all out we have a solid top 3 for the next decade. |

The tough decision, for me, is what we do with Seattle. If we have all 4 of Provorov, Sanheim, Ghost, and Myers pan out (not to mention Morin or any others), we're gonna be hard pressed to protect them all. Maybe they can do what Chicago did and give them assets to pick a particular player, we just can't make the mistake that Florida did. Otherwise, the best bet would be to trade one of the 4 for the best return we can find. |
