I'm sure there's going to be a lot of interesting numbers and side stories to all this, a rookie goaltender setting wins record that can't be surpassed (unless the playoff format is changed), the Blues tying a record for number of games played in a single post season, two shy of the max, ROR scoring scoring goals in four straight - first since Gretz, etc.

I think so far my favorite tidbit is in the SCF - games in which the fourth line was intact (not dealing with a suspension) the Blues were 4-1, including the last four in a row. 0-2 in suspension games.

They did such a great job of shutting down the other teams' best players the entire way.

I was thinking of you last night. So glad it turned out the way it did for you.

My daughter went up to Boston for Flyers/Bruins game 7 in the ECF in 2010. Flyers had been down in the series 3-0. And in that final game the Flyers were down 3-0 in the first period. She was so angry about spending the money and driving that far. And then vanRiemsdyk scored and they were off to the races. It turned out to all be worth it. Of course yours is better, because FINALS. But sometimes taking that wild fan chance pays off.

Congrats Blues fans! This Pred fan was pulling for you vs the Bruins. And what a great story line to go with it all. Hard to fathom how the fans and Blues players are feeling today. Enjoy it! We'll see you next season when it all begins again.

Congrats to you guys from a Hawks fan. I went to the Hawks/Blues game in St. Louis in late October. We got beat pretty good but I enjoyed the experience and thought the fans were great there. Binnington was unbelievable. It was a great game to watch. I really did not care who won, just that I enjoyed watching the games. Enjoy the moment.

I don't want to rain on the parade, but there's one thing that wasn't perfect last night. What do you all think of the radio call as the clock ran out? It felt like it was all prerehearsed and written, but not very well. The excitement was lacking. I was sad.

A big congrats on winning the cup!! Our teams may be rivals but it was good seeing the Blues hoist the cup. Now I hope it doesn't happen again any time soon
