Never in doubt. Except after game 4 against WPG, and then there was game 5 against DAL, of course after the glove pass, games 1,3 and 6 in the finals, but other than that, never in doubt.

No Backes, no Jackman, no Reeves... I look at the Blues roster and I can’t really say that any of your players are Grade-A d-bags anymore.

I’ve followed hockey for enough years to appreciate how this team has had more than it’s share of playoff hockey disappointment. Blues fans have been through a lot and I for one am genuinely happy for you guys to see your team win it all.

Also, it brings more weight/credibility to the rivalry between the Hawks and the Blues in the years to come. Because now, these are both franchises with Cup banners hanging in the rafters.

Congrats to the Blues for quenching the drought! Now you guys know what its like! Enjoy!

that's the beauty of the nhl playoffs...no team gets a free ride...teams and players are going to have their deflating bad moments and losses

you gotta be resilient and incredibly tough mentally and physically to come out on top after two months of playoff hockey...

the blues and their young goalie exemplified this in spades...and they did it without a team of superstars...tarasenko is their stud but he did not really stand out...

I was actually very surprised. We took some crap on the streets before the game but nothing to crazy. After the game i can’t even count the number of bruins fans who came up and congratulated us or shook our hands and said we deserved it.

There were a lot of blues fans there so i can only speak on my experience. Our tickets were randomly right next to the blues players families and wives so that definitely helped during the game as all the Boston fans figured out really quickly who those people were
