Guruu, I think they were wondering if you'd had a heart attack. I'm just here to give cover for the playoffs. Although largely you didn't attract trolls.

I don't want to rain on the parade, but there's one thing that wasn't perfect last night. What do you all think of the radio call as the clock ran out? It felt like it was all prerehearsed and written, but not very well. The excitement was lacking. I was sad. - bodiva88
I'm was really surprised as he had a built in transition that I figured was going to be obvious.
He's known a bit for his tag line of "You can bring out the zamboni" at the end of games. I figured we'd get something like, "forget the zamboni, you can bring out the cup" or just "you can bring out the cup" and then go into more expanding.
The video of the call with Joey Vitale is awesome, watching Vitale. A lot of non-STL people may not realize that both Joey and Chris (the radio voices) are from St. Louis. Vitale had his NHL career cut short by injury.
So you had two guys who are long time Blues fans making the call and in the video you can see how amped up Vitale is and he's trying to mute it some on the call. JR from the athletic is too. Lots of the media/tv people here were fans before they began working in it. |

Me personally I could listen / watch him make that call over and over. I cry every time I hear it. https://twitter.com/StLou...tatus/1139255702822801415 |

I need to start up a poll for the Blues fans....how many times have you misted up over the last 36 hours...I think my number is pretty high.
I'm crying. You're crying. And we both love it. |

This city is totally buzzing. Just like I imagine St Louis is.
the parade is scheduled for Monday. Starts at 10, goes through the city to end up in front of the huge square (has a skating rink in it), in front of city hall.

Eberle got 27.5 for 5 years. 5.5 aav.
Side note- bad news. The people are all gone from OB Clarks. Good news- there were three alcohol distributor's trucks refilling the bar when i drove by.
They must have left because they ran out of booze |

Guys, I think the tides have turned and I am great luck now.
First, a Blues Stanley Cup Championship one night. Wake up the next morning after a couple hours sleep and drive up to Toronto to watch my brother's hockey tournament. And the Raptors win the NBA Championship that night.
Everyone have fun at the parade tomorrow. I'm bummed I'm going to miss it. |

How did your brothers team do? I've always wanted to visit Canada, especially Toronto for the HOF. Maybe next summer |

Won the first game 4-3. Plays two games tomorrow. Championship game, if necessary, is Sunday morning. |

Think you missed a game. Semifinals would be Sunday morning too i think. No?
The spacing is the key. We had the 2nd latest friday night game and then the 2nd earliest saturday am game. It wasn't optimal. |

For his division this year there are 4 teams. They are playing each once (1 today, 2 tomorrow) and the top 2 teams are playing Sunday morning for the championship.
Prior years had 2 potential games on Sunday, not this year because there are only 4 division 1 teams instead of 8. |
