Or he can play in the show. Word is he'd rather return to junior because the jerseys are nicer. |

Flyers have to retain 1/3 salary and Niskanen thinks he had an off year last year. Still a good deal IMO. I seen they are targeting Kadri also and maybe Trouba . Swinging for the fences this year. - VANTEL
Niskanen is a good pick up. Needed a guy like him to steady things. AV will get them scoring, ghost/porvorov could easily get north of 50 in his system. |

What would it take to get Gostisbehere out of Philly? Heās being shopped. Would Virtanen and a 2020 second do it? Or add Hutton other than the second. |

For sure. Was just talking with a philly friend of mine about it and wanted to know some other opinions of what itād take. Personally mine was virtanen and Tanev for Ghost and a 2nd this year. I could be way off though. |

I think he would be costly, a first Jake and a guy like Tryamkin. I personally would not pursue him.
All the big trades seem to center around Dmen . Other teams will have interest in guys like Woo and OJ also in a few years . This is why I want Canucks drafting Dmen with the first and second round. They have extremely high trade value down the road.
If a guy like Rafferty or Eliot turn out that is a bonus but the the big tickets are high drafted Dmen.
Look at what a guy like Brandon Carlo could fetch now and he was selected 37 th. |

According to our resident note taker, Carlo is a 5th defenseman.
Would love to have a couple defensemen like Carlo Pietrangelo or Parayko. |

Even bringing back Tryamkin on a three year deal would fetch a huge return if he was over here playing

Fair enough. Iād probably do a version of your trade to be honest. I have a huge liking for offensive thinking d men though. Thanks for the input. |

I wouldn't do that.
I think trading a 1st round pick at this point is detrimental to the organization for that kind of return. That 1st round pick could look pretty good in 3 years.
We have a young offensive talent coming to our blue line, let's let him show what he can do. |

Costly dreams for sure but the d game change alone would be insane. With Hughes in As well thatās a fun d group. |
