Not sure how the Bills will use him. He has the height to be a tight end, but the athleticism of a kicker - jcragcrumple

Pastrnak was drafted 5 years ago
Debrusk and carlo 4 years ago
McAvoy 3 years ago
You can do better than that, i think. Or you missed my point - ieetbred
Your time frames make sense if it was the 2019-2020 season. However it is the 2018-2019 season. Nice attempt though. |

You’re right, the Sabres were winning the cup this year with ROR on the team lol. He will slow down before that contracts up, however if they win tonight the Blues won’t matter when that point comes. - Pegullaville
Your probably right, if we had ror and lost in game 7 of the Stanley cup, it would be better to be picking 7th oa.
Especially if we barely snuck into the playoffs and had to play Tampa in the first round |

Without Binnington the Sabres have two top 15 picks in this years draft. - Pegullaville
Hockey is such a game of bounces. Stl was in a game 7 OT in round two and the other team missed a wide open net (las vegas maybe). Puck goes in we pick 7 and 17 or 18 and stl obviously isn’t on the verge of Stanley. Plus we’re not hating the trade as much. Hope pick 31 and/or next years 2 account for something?

This ROR guy is pretty good
30/31 Nylander, Girgensons, Scandella, would the Blues take it ? Maybe they don't need him. |

It would have to be something like Okposo, pick 31, Thompson and a future 2nd to lock that up |

Huh? - sbroads24
Since im not sure how i hacked my own opinion up that badly ill explain
If this draft is as deep as some have said maybe you can turn out 7OA by 20-21.
Maybe you get lucky and hes ready to play next year.
The fact that those four players all contributed right away is an outlier. It is circumstantial as well. We do not have the drafting history boston does, and we do not have the veteran laden roster with future HOFs
I think its a bad example. Tage thompsons 12 points say hi |

It was the first time in Stanley Cup playoff history that both #1 seeds lost in the first round, true story. We actually had a better chance of winning the Jack Hughes lottery then the playoffs unfolding how they did. Last time I checked though the last two teams left standing didn’t just “make it in”. |

We could argue semantics, because in 2 weeks it will in fact be those amount of years since they were drafted but whatever.

It could very well be the worst trade since the lockout. Yet people define it, its amazing. |

Yes it was a really bad deal IMO but, we have 2 first round picks this year and Skinner.Maybe the 2nd first we have will bring something in a trade. |

Outside of the skinner trade, I feel like botts has been hosed in every trade. So doesn't give me too much hope to be honest. |

The blues actually are going to win the Stanley cup and ror is the 1st nhl hockey player since 1985 to score in 4 straight cup games.
1st guy since Wayne Gretzky.
Wayne Gretzky was really good at hockey, you may not have heard of him. |
