I'm an Ontarian with the mandatory grade 9 french education. I've got enough to order off menus and ask people parlez-vous anglais? - Takemedrunkimhome
Oh ok! Basically, she sent them a letter stating legal articles and whatnot about how they can't just change the terms and conditions of their points program. At least, that's what I understood from it. I did read it pretty quickly once I realized what it was about. |

should the Habs trade for Olli Maatta if he is available? 6'2", 24yrs old, LHD. He would replace Benn at this point - Symba007

15. Montreal Canadiens
Philip Broberg, D, AIK-Allsvenskan
If the draft were to play out like this, the Canadiens would be in an ideal spot. It’s not often you can say that with the No. 15 pick, but here they are, with two high-end options to address their biggest need and a tantalizing homegrown forward still up for grabs. While his postseason flurry with the Halifax Mooseheads will make center Raphael Lavoie very tempting, I think the Canadiens would be hard-pressed to ignore the gaping hole on left defense on their organizational depth chart. And there is Broberg, just sitting there, a big defenseman with exceptional wheels who was named the top player at his position by the IIHF directorate at the Under-18 world championships, helping Sweden win the gold medal. Broberg was second in the tournament among defensemen in scoring with six points in seven games. The thing is, he was far behind the player who finished first, and that player is also available. Cam York of the USNTDP had 11 points in seven games and plays a dynamic game, seemingly tailor-made for the modern NHL. Both fill a need, but I believe only one of them does that while also meeting the standard of best player available, and that’s Broberg. It is rare to see a player his size skate the way he does, and the opportunity to add a player who does something that fundamental to the game at an elite level is a hard thing to pass up. – Arpon Basu
Pronman: I don’t think Broberg will get close to No. 15, but he’d be a steal at this slot as a potential first pairing defenseman and would up there with Mikhail Sergachev in terms of most talented defensemen the Habs have drafted in recent years.
so it's between York and Broberg? |

'Maybe it works out, and maybe it doesn't - not a big fan of brothers on the same team... If Suzuki was the clear best player at 15, then sure. But I don't think he is, regardless, expect the Habs to go for a D. |

LOL No. there is no lawsuit threat there whatsoever and at no point do I mention that they need my consent. Please do not become a translator and if you're just gonna say random stuff, you should just refrain. |

Again, why I don't like having brothers on the same team.
That being said, based on what I have read, the Suzuki brothers are more focused and understand what they need to do / how to be prepared to not only get to the NHL but keep improving.
The Kostitsyn brothers had the raw talent, but did not have a foundation to build on in order to succeed. Plus at that point, MTL player development was terrible, which did not help.
As a side note, I really hope they keep most of the kids in Laval for most of next year, for development... |

Feel like the Flyers and Canadians fit for a trade.
Does Gostisbehere and 11 get Domi and 15?
Or would it be more like Gositsbehere for Drouin?
I think there is a match between these two |
