Eh. I’d like to see if they can increase Shattys trade value. Let him play next season, if he sucks then cut bait after the season. I don’t see this dire need to dump him yet, unless they are contending next season I just assume keep him. He has zero trade value right now. Buying him out is a dumb move too, imo
For Getzlaf I’d do something, but I don’t think he’d waive clauses, or is even rumored to be going anywhere - Slimtj100
I just absolutely hate Shattenkirk.......
......Incase you already didn’t know. And I think Perry could be a great influence on the younger guys. Plays the game extremely hard.

Every blogger (or selector) should be posting their selection ( or trade) with the reasoning for it, and are at liberty to do so within an hour and not exceeding 24 hours.

I’m not sure if that’s exactly the right word. Hard yes, but maybe not the hard you want guys to learn.
He has lead the LEAGUE in stick infractions on multiple occasions.

Real life interceded, as I noted in a comment to my blog yesterday. We will be moving to at least two per day, which had started, and then likely three to expedite this. I will take the blame for the slowness of this progressing.
"With the 6th Overall Pick in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft, the Colorado Avalanche, represented by optimus-reim, trade that pick to New York Rangers. The overall trade is Lias Andersson, Jimmy Vesey and Neal Pionk for 7, 31 and 63. New York uses the 7th pick to select Trevor Zegras"
Okaaaay.. What did the Wings get for the # 6 pick?
Right now, 35% say the deal is fair, 47% say unfair for Colorado and 18% unfair for New York. Do you view it as the % saying deal is fair and unfair for New York means that the trade should be allowed to continue or that 47% think it's unfair for Colorado means that the deal should be overturned and go with who the Avalanche would pick?

I get that, just offering a format for you. Maybe go up in the right hand corner or even centre stage where only the selectors can log in and make their selections.

Let it go through, we don’t have time to re-pick, it’s close enough and this is meant to be fun.

Its your mock Jan ---- whatever you think is fair... I am one of the 47%, but I don't think my opinion counts more than yours. Besides, as Jimbo pointed out earlier, trades in real life can be "bad" or "one-sided".
Tonight WAS the night, 25 years to the date of our last Cup win, in ending that 53 seasons streak without one, as well as no longer hearing that dreadful, mocking, "1940" chant. Brooks posted a good article on it just after midnight.
It's nearly ironic in a sense, that 25 years later, it was the Blues in 3 seasons less than ours, snapped what was the current longest 50 straight seasons drought of any team not to win a Stanley Cup, in doing so in the franchise's 51st season, by coming back from dead last overall in the league on Jan. 3rd.
That's proof if having enough pieces even if making an early season coaching change, it is never wise to sell very early, despite if the record and standings suggest otherwise. Usually, that decision not to become sellers hinges first on having a top #1 goalie, which the Blues lacked as of Jan. 3rd. After their 4th ranked goalie in training camp in Jordan Binnington made his first NHL start on January 7th, & soon after, led them to 9 wins in an 11 game winning streak, the Blues removed any thoughts of selling by the trade deadline.
The rest became history with the Blues reaching the postseason & winning the Cup with Binnington becoming the first rookie goalie ever to win 16 games in his rookie postseason to win one. But despite his heroic postseason, he only fell short of winning the Conn Smythe Trophy, due to one of those other key pieces, in whom the Blues acquired last summer, in Ryan O'Reilly's 23 playoff points, including a record tying Cup Finals 4 game scoring streak through Game 7, (tying Gretzky's in 1985), earning him that Postseason MVP award.

Let it go through. I can see the opinion that it's not enough for Colorado, but at the end of the day, their mock GM okayed the mock trade here in our mock draft. It's his mock opinion that it works.

Or you can just set this up and do it yourself...until then shut your whore mouth, read what is posted, or don't.
