It's a stool, not a chair. You get the stool

What was it the other day on CapFriendly that a few TB fans actually sat there and thought about...
Something like:
BUF gets: Point, Callahan, and Palat
TBL gets: 7OA, Mits, and 2020 1st.
TB didn't mind it because it got Callahan's 5.8M out plus Palat's highly underachieving ass's 3x5.4M out the door plus they get 2 1sts and a projected 2C in Mits who can grow under Miller/Johnson/Gourde.
IDK how salary would work because Point is gonna get about 9-10M AAV I'd guess. - JVince11
This is interesting but I wouldn't give up on Mittlestedt just yet. |

It's astonishing how far Botterill set this organization back. At least 20 years. |

No way. The Sabres sucked pretty hard to get this guy. Young, cost-controlled, loads of potential. Not the time to give up on a guy like that. He needs to take a big step, then get locked up for a friendly contract. |

This includes 7 SB appearances and 3 SB wins. Yet somehow it took him until his death to get into the HOF. Jerry Jones really had to get in last year ffs. Broncos last two losing seasons were their first back to back losing seasons since 1972. |

What are the chances the Sabres are on Zucker's ten team no trade list? |

Remind me how many playoff series wins Duchene has been a part of please?
He is NOT a “stud”
He got to 70pts this year for the 2nd time in his career
And it’s bc he was used as the 1C
His numbers are very unlikely to go up here behind Eichel with less of those prime offensive opportunities
Overpaying him something in the 10mil range to be a 25goal-65point player would be a disaster
Mitts will be our 2C sooner than later
And it looks like we could be drafting another Center as well
2C is not as big a need as many are saying

They need a placeholder at 2C
Eakin or Haula from Vegas |

#7 out of ten. That's probably about right. Good player, not too old, on a kinda decent contract. Just wouldn't get our hopes up too much for him. |

West is right. Vegas is among the best places to look for a trade. And I like the idea of a placeholder vs long term UFA pickup. |

Trades are hard to do. Free agents want big money. |
