Agree 100%. We have nothing of value to trade for guys like Zucker, Ehlers or some others but I would take him for a 3rd or a 4th. He does score goals and we need that.

Like I said before, adding Vesey, Roslovic and a FA like Connolly to your top 9 can't be all bad.

Im not saying the goals aren't useful, but if a player gives up 1.5 goals for every goal he helps create, the year long impact is often pretty bad.

Granted, they could shelter him so as to minimize the damage he does defensively. However with this particular lineup I think there are already enough guys getting/needing that kind of sheltering.

Ryan Carpenter would be a good get, especially if they find a way to move on from Sobotka/Girgs or whoever played centre.

Idk man there are enough one dimensional players on this team as is. You bring Vesey in the fold and put him with say Mittelstadt and you'll be haemorrhaging shots/goals against.

They'd have to score 30, each. And even then Im not sure.
