I think you're undervaluing Risto and overvaluing kadri. If you think Kadri is getting 30 goals and 60 points on this team, I have a new peace bridge to sell you. I'd wager Risto scoring 55p on WPG over Kadri scoring 55p on the Sabres - jcragcrumple
I am done with guys that are big and fast but thin between the ears. To be fair to risto he has been through a lot here and could use a change.

Yikes.
You think Risto is taking PP1 time from Byfuglien? - OneKaneOneCup
Any team trading for Risto should be smart enough to give him 60-65% o zone starts and pp1 time. There's no reason to make a trade otherwise. If a team does that, they'll get 55+ points and a reasonable +/- |

That doesn't mean you trade him for a 29 year old with ego issues. For the record, I'm fine with trading for Kadri, but Risto is a massive overpay |

You're overvaluing Risto. He is the worst player in the grouping of Kadri, Trouba and Ehlers. |

Imo, they don't need him. Another bloated contract. - Powerslave
Like skinner is now. Really good player but horrible contract |

He's definitely a more useful player than Ehlers. He's definitely worse than Trouba. I guess there's room for debate on Kadri, but I wouldn't do the deal |

Nothing like that.
The Sabres need Skinner. The Yankees don't need Stanton. There's your difference. |

I'm still not handing Toronto a bonafide top pair dman in Trouba to acquire bonehead Kadri |

I believe advanced stats say his goodness or lack thereof is dependent on the quality of his defense partner? |

I feel like the Blackhawks got hosed. Kahun will put up 53 points this year.
Was impressive as a rookie last year. |

Trade seems a little off from CHI perspective
I don’t know too much about Kahun but 37 points mostly at EV as a rookie seems really solid - OneKaneOneCup
a CHL player ?? Makes sense |

Well the advanced stats people seem to be all over the place
WAR/GAR has him ranked high, the guy that does the heat map/shot visuals has him as below average.

Sabres should look into shipping out Bogo and Scandella, while bringing in honka. |

You don't hand Trouba to Toronto like that. If Toronto is getting Trouba, then Buffalo should get Kadri and Ehlers.
I wouldn't trade Risto for Kadri straight up, and I sure wouldn't help hand Toronto Trouba - jcragcrumple
I think all 3 players have similar value.
I like risto and kadri
2d and 2c
Trouba brings the big contract extension/ big pay day

GAR ranks him behind Larsson, Mittelstadt, and Pilut. He's a net negative off the PP.
Of course, GAR ranks Skinner, Pommer and ERod ahead of Eichel at 5v5. It has serious issues. |

Trouba's value is head and shoulders above Kadri. To help Toronto acquire Trouba is suicide |

Factoring in penalty differential feels...less important regarding those stats.
Those that believe in GAR and WAR are almost slave to it. |
