What's the Sabres first move this week?
Go! - mhp
Qualifying Offers to ERod, Ullmark, and McCabe.

Torn on him - OneKaneOneCup
If everything goes wrong in the top 6, I'd take him or Boldy.

Sabres and Rangers spoke 2 times regarding Vesey and also they talked to the Jets regarding Laine. - SABRES 89
Appreciate the info. I am fine with vesey. It wouldn’t cost the Sabres that much.
Laine - I wonder what the Sabres would have to give up. Mitts 7OA and what else?
Botts is definitely working the phones it seems like |

So pass on QO for Larry, Girgs and CJ Smith?

love it, he's my choice. - mhp
I think he is now ** my choice as well.
Would love to move back into the mid 1st for Newhook. Mid-season I just wanted us to reach on Newhook. |

From what 89 has said, it sounds to me like they were just kicking the tires on Laine. 2 calls on Vesey would appear farther along. |

We need to grab one of the centers. It might not BPA but we need to get better center depth and this is the draft to do it imo.
A lot also depends on how picks 4-6 go. |

Na, just took a quick first pass and chose the obvious. Deadline is the 25th.

yeah vesey I bet is a sheary type trade. Vesey for a 3rd or something close to that. His value can’t be that high. |

Keep CJ. Pass on the other 2 - Sabretooth9
It's a no brainer on CJ. He won't cost much and who knows, he might make the roster. |

That is correct on Laine, Botterill is doing his job to add scoring problem is, Laine would cost a lot contract wise. IMO, we should get a 2nd line Center and then move on from there. I like Duchene but once again, would cost a lot on a contract. |

Any word on if Minnesota would consider trading big Eric? Perfect 2 or 3 year stopgap, character vet. |

I would be okay with that. Sheary and 7th overall pick? |

I’m happy that botts seems to be working the phone pretty hard. I am all for adding talent.
I’ll take vesey over girgs. Larson Sobotka and our bottom 6 from last year. |

Sell off for Scandella and Bogosians for 7ths. A team would take that. And would open 9 million up |
