Kessel on this team, i'm all for it.

Can you imagine Ehler's speed next to Jack and Skinner/Olofsson.

My god... Ehlers is so f'n faaaaaaaast. He has some defensive liability problems though.

Jets have probably one of my favorite forward groups in the NHL. Laine, Connor, Schiefele, Wheeler, and Ehlers... add in Roslovic... then they still have kids like Vesalainen, Gustaffson, Appleton, and Spacek.

We were all shocked with Marleau left and no body thought he would. Joe almost did last year. THere were reports that he had signed a contract to leave and then his agent called the team back to cancel the contract because he couldn't get/ask his family to up and move.

Why would Skinner be on the 2nd line, I doubt that. 37 on the 2nd line center spot didn't work, can't go with that again. 2nd line center is what we need before another winger.

Olofsson/Jack/Sam
Skinner/Erod/KO
Wilson/Mitts/Sheary


I also wouldn't throw out Mitts as 2C just because he didn't blow the roof off as an 18 year old.

This always gets reported and has for years, yet in 15-16 they spent exactly to the upper limit of $71.4M, 16-17 they actually went over by about $250K, 17-18 they ended up with about $300K of space, and this year they had $3.3M. They also had $13M of buried and retained money!

It's like when people tried to say "Gallysano" never spent money, except the Sabres were a cap team for a while.
