How do you figure? He contributed little to their Cup run. You also havent allowed the Flyers to see how they do as the return they got for Schenn arent in the NHL yet. |

Schenn was a significant component in their cup run. He went the (frank) after chara. Like a shark attacking a wounded whale. It was impressive. I have no bad things to say about schenn. The deal...like many of the deals that get made, is likely to be best for both teams. (Certainly for St. Louis) |

He was misused and over valued by the previous regime. Mac D was NEVER a top 4 talent and should never have been paid that way. Decisions like that cost the previous regime their jobs when they continued to roll him out there and not address his inconsistent play. Now it’s addition by subtraction. I like that the moves have started, keep them coming. |

Carrying dead cap space is (frank)ing stupid.....bury him on the Phantoms - KINGKENZO
I'm wondering why they didn't just do that. There was no way anyone was going to claim him.
I guess it frees up more money to use during the summer?
Regardless, so long. Should've been gone years ago. |

He was very important if you watched the Blues games. Frost was supposed to be a superstar. He is still stuck in some Junior League. 😓 |

Not so sure as its time to cut the cord with the dead weight with anyone the GM doesnt want from the prior regime.
Dont think its the route I would have went though he if no longer wants him around i get it from that perspective. Schelmko comes off next year so macs cap hit just replaces that lol |

Instead of it costing ~$4M in cap this year by having him in LV, it costs you ~$3M spread over 2 years.
This doesn't increase the Flyers costs at all; it decreases and moves some forward one year. |

Would you rather have more than $4M in "dead space" or ~$3M? They've obviously valued both the extra savings through a buyout AND the LV roster spot more than having a $1.9M cap charge next year. You can disagree all you want, but it's not stupid. |

I can and it is. They have the space to carry his "4 million dead space hit" this year. Then they can wash their hands and be done. They only sense it makes to buy him out to create space for this year if theyre positioning for Panarin. Anything short of that, its (frank)ing stupid carry a dead hit to next year when the entirety can be eliminated this year |

MJL thinks whatever fits his narrative at the time. One day AMac is a top 4 Dman, the next day he's a good choice for the top pair with Provorov and the next he's worst Dman in history - xShoot4WarAmpsx
Again, I challenge you to support your claims and back up these so called statements that I've made. I understand that your mad and upset because I've refuted your narratives numerous times and proven you to be wrong. That doesn't entitle you to your own made up fantasy facts.

That's a ridiculous statement. He scored 5 goals and registered 12 points. He was 5th on the team in EV TOI/GP. A coach does not play and player that much who is contributing little. He was also 5th on the team in PP TOI/GP.

The cost in 20/21 went from O on the cap to 1.9M on the cap.
